| Directions: Located 20 miles northeast of San Diego off I-8, near Lakeside. This is an excellent trout lake. Hours of Operation: Campers can fish year round from shore, but day-use and boat rentals are limited to October through May on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The lake is open until midnight in the summertime for catfishing. Boat Rentals & Launch: Private boats are allowed but the speed limit is 10mph, rental boats are also available for use.
