Lake Cuyamaca - 110 Acres

Located about 51 miles northeast of San Diego, take I-8 east then north on Hwy. 79.
General Information:
Going to this lake is like going to the mountains, at 4,600 feet in elevation, the alpine lake is encircled by pine and oaks trees, the water is very clear and cold. This lake actually lies in a broad mountain meadow of the Cleveland National park surrounded on 3 sides by the Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Private boats are allowed with a speed limit of 10mph and a length of 18feet max. Boat rentals are also available. There is a Store and restaurant, with camping close by at the state park.
