Ryan Phillippe (pronounced Fil-lih-pee) was born on September 10, 1974. He grew up in New Castle, Delaware with his three sisters: Kirsten, Lindsay, and Katelyn.
Ryan's acting career began with a landmark role on the daytime drama "One Life to Live." Ryan played Billy Douglas, daytime television's first gay teenage character.
His career has grown steadily ever since. After "OLTL," he moved on to NBC's "Lake Success." He followed that with a number of TV movies and guest starring roles. Today, Ryan has made a near-effortless transition to the big screen.
On the more personal side, Ryan recently married the beautiful and talented actress Reese Witherspoon. The happy couple welcomed their first child in early fall: a baby girl they've named Ava Elizabeth.
Ryan is nominated for an MTV movie award in the best male performance category.

Paul's mother was a model, and as a child Paul stared in commercials for Pampers, and many other things. He began acting when he was very young also, but only began to study it after graduating from high school. In 1986, Paul played Professor Bennet in the movie, Monster in the Closet. He then stared in the TV series, Throb. He also made guest appearances on several television shows including "Charles in Charge", "Highway to Heaven", "Who's the Boss", and "Different Strokes" Paul also had a role in the soap opera, "Young and the Restless". His next film was Tammy and the T-Rex in 1994. Paul then took a break from acting and went to college. He majored in Marine Biology at a California community college, then Paul decided to go back to acting so he could make some money. Paul was cast in an episode of Touched By An Angel and wanted to go back to acting for good. In 1998 he stared in Meet the Deedles, soon followed by Pleasantville, Varsity Blues, She's All That, Brokedown Palace and is currently starring in a movie called Skulls along with Joshua Jackson.

Mark Wahlberg was briefly one of the original New Kids On The Block, Boston citykids whose factory-made pop dance tunes overwhelmed the charts in the 1980s. He then formed Marky Mark and The Funky Bunch, and was a pop idol in his own right, famous for innocuous dance tunes and oft-exposed briefs. (His penchant for dropping his trousers got him a job as a Calvin Klein underwear model). He turned to acting, debuting in The Substitute in 1993, and earning nods from critics for his portrayal of Dirk Diggler in 1997's Boogie Nights.

This led to his first onscreen line which led to his SAG card, which in turn, led to an agent! Good job, Matt!
Television Job:
In November of '89, chosen as the M.C. of Nickelodeon's "SK8 TV."
Matt was hired once to do an episode of "Cybil," where he was to be Christine Baranski's son. However, he and the writers disagreed as to how the character should be played, so he was released. He's just as happy that it happened that way, as things have gone quite well, to understate things!
He did a couple of pilots in his life. One for Tom Fontana of HOMOCIDE fame, called "In the Line of Fire."
He also did a pilot for the people who created "My So Called Life," that pilot was called "The L Word." Excellently written and cast, underwritten by NBC but never picked up thanks to Don Ohlmyer.
