BANANA BIRDS	FAQ LEVELS 1 and 2
Banana Birds Here's a list of caves hiding Banana Birds. Arich's Hoard - Beat Riverside Race in less than the 1:15:00. Then go to Brash's Cabin. He will get mad, shake the world, and a bridge will appear below Bobbing Barrel Brawl. Cross the bridge to Arich's Hoard. Kaos Kone - When you get to the pond, do a figure 8 around the two rocks and the closed drainage pipe. The grate will open. Enter the pipe to get a Banana Bird. Kong Cave - Go to the beach behind Bazaars general store with the hovercraft. Bounty Beach - Take the hovercraft or motor boat to reach it. It's in the right of your screen facing Funky's rentals. Smugglers Cove - In Lake Orangatanga, swim under the bridge, up to the top of the screen. Barnacle's Island - Trade a shell for a bird. Undercover Cove - You need the TURBO SKI to get to this secret cave. When you have the ski, jump to the upper lake behind Kong Cave via the waterfall. Glacial Grotto - In the k3, go to the Blizzard's Basecamp and press Left to reveal a cave. Sky-High Secret - Go to k3, then go to the Blizzard's Basecamp and get the present. Leave this world and go to Cotton-Top Cove, then enter Blue's Beach Hut. Give Blue the present and he will give you a bowling ball. Next go to Mekanos and enter Bazooka's Barracks. Give Bazooka the bowling ball and choose option 1 ("Lock and Load, sir!") If you did this right you'll be fired off to the Sky-High secret. Bounty Bay - In Cotton-Top Cove, go to the first lake. Go to the waterfall and on the right is a cave to Bounty Bay. Enter Bounty Bay and get a Banana Bird. Cliff Top Cache - At Barter Swap Shop, trade your mirror for the wrench. Then go to Bjorn's Chair lifts and give him the wrench. His chair lifts will start working and you can take them across to Cliff Top Cache. Bramble's Bungalow - After beating the game a flower will grow on the path above Bramble's Bungalow. Grab it and take it to Bramble. He will thank you with a Banana Bird. Hilltop Hoard - After getting the Gyrocoptor, fly to the cliff next to Razor Ridge. Enter to get the Banana Bird. Belcha's Burrow - With the Gyrocopter, fly straight down from Kong Cave. Enter to get the Banana Bird. K's Kache - Using the Gyrocopter, fly up to the lake above Cotton-top Cove. There will be a small island on it. Land on the island to win a Banana Bird. When you arrive, the banana birds will fly you up to the Giant Cloud where the Mama Bird lives. They will set her free and a surprise demo will play. Once you get all the birds go up to the sky and the mother bird will ask you if you have all the birds. She will give you something. Using the jet ski, travel around the rocks (not the individual rocks but the whole circle of rocks) counter-clockwise until you hear a noise. The Lost World of Krematoa will appear in the light blue circle in the water between the rocks. Submitted by Greg Ferguson (fergwr@atcon.com) Pirate Panic Level Skip In this level, jump into the barrels at the beginning. Just before the bonus, do your "team throw" upwards. You should end up in a place with an exclamation mark and bananas. Go through there to end up at the end of the level. When you reach the letter "K," keep going to the right and look underneath the dock to find a Bonus Level. Put Kiddie Kong on the back of Dixie Kong, then throw him up in the air and land on the crack in the dock above the barrel. Now you can hop into the barrel to get sent off to the Bonus Level! Bonus Level Two - When you first start the stage, go to the right. When you reach the letter "K," keep going to the right and look underneath the dock to find a Bonus Level. Walk past the Bonus Level and you will see the letter "O" and a crocodile holding a shield with a DK Coin on it. Keep going to the right until you reach the letter "N." Drop straight down from the letter "N" to enter the water. Swim to the right and you'll see the second Bonus Level! DOORSTEP DASH Bonus Level One - When you first start the stage, go to the right then jump and grab the bar above the letter "K." Stay on the bar for a couple of seconds to open the door to the right. Once done, drop off of the bar and go to the right through the door. Go to the right and grab the bar to go through the door on the right. Go to the right and grab the next bar to go through another door. Jump on the platform, then jump to the platform that's up and to the left. Grab the letter "O" and go through the left door. Go to the left and grab the bar to go through the door on the left. Go all the way to the left and you will see a bar that is out of reach and a door on the left. Put Kiddie Kong on the back of Dixie Kong and throw him up to the bar to open the door on the left. Use Dixie's Helicopter Spin to float through the door on the left. Once through the door, hop into the barrel to get sent off to the Bonus Level! Bonus Level Two - From the Continue Barrel, get on the moving platform to the right and ride the platform to the top, then jump off of it to the left. Go to the left and through the door. Continue

TIDAL TROUBLE Bonus Level One - When you first start the stage, go to the right and drop down into the water. Swim to the right and you'll reach the letter "K." Keep swimming all the way to the right. Once done, hop out of the water and jump to the dock on the right. Go to the right and you'll reach the letter "O." Drop down into the water and swim to the left to reach Enguarde. Swim all the way to the right and you'll reach a Bonus Level! Bonus Level Two - Keep swimming from the Continue Barrel all the way to the right until you reach two flying red bugs. Hop out of the water and bounce on top of the bugs to reach the dock that's above you. Once done, go to the right and hop onto the green barrel. Pick up the barrel and get rid of the bird there to get the letter "N." Now you must run and jump off the end of the dock to the right. Be sure to use Dixie's Helicopter Spin to float over to the high dock on the right. Now, enter the barrel to get sent off to the Bonus Level!SKIDDA'S ROW Bonus Level One - When you first start the stage, go to the right and you'll reach the letter "K." Continue going to the right and you'll notice a Bonus Barrel that's up and to the right of you. Jump into the barrel to get sent off to the Bonus Level! Bonus Level Two - Keep going to the right from the Continue Barrel and you'll find the crocodile holding a shield with a DK Coin on it. Keep going to the right and you'll reach the letter "N." Continue going to the right and you'll see two purple crocodiles running back and forth on top of a house. Bump them both off and jump into the barrel that was above them to get sent off to a Bonus Level!MURKY MILL Bonus Level One - From the Continue Barrel, go to the right and you'll reach a Steel Barrel. Pick up the barrel and destroy the green buzzer on the left. Once done, hop onto the doors on the floor to drop down into a barrel. This will send you to the Bonus Level! Bonus Level Two - From the Continue Barrel, go to the right a	MURKY MILL Bonus Level One - From the Continue Barrel, go to the right and you'll reach a Steel Barrel. Pick up the barrel and destroy the green buzzer on the left. Once done, hop onto the doors on the floor to drop down into a barrel. This will send you to the Bonus Level! Bonus Level Two - From the Continue Barrel, go to the right and pick up the Steel Barrel to get rid of the rat to the right of you. Continue going to the right and get onto the moving platform at the end. Ride it down to the bottom, then go to the right. Go to the right and you'll see the crocodile holding a shield with a DK Coin on it. Pick up the Steel Barrel that's to the left of him and hop onto the moving platform to ride it up to the top. Go to the right and throw the barrel at the rat to get rid of him, then go to the right and hop onto the moving platform. Ride it down to the bottom, then pick up the barrel and go to the left. Throw the barrel at the rat to get rid of it, then go to the left to reach the letter "N." Continue to the left and inhale the barrel into the rat by holding down the Y Button. Once done, go to the left and hop onto the moving platform at the end. At the bottom, go to the left corner to enter a secret Barrel Cannon. After you get shot out, get onto the platform on the left. Now inhale the Steel Barrel off of the ledge by holding down the Y Button to get rid of the green buzzer. Once done, drop down off of the ledge to enter a barrel that will send you to the Bonus Level!BARREL SHIELD BUST-UP Bonus Level One - When you first start the stage, go to the right and enter the tree. Jump up and climb up the rope to reach the letter "K." Continue up the rope to the top and exit the tree to the left. Go up the branches and enter the tree on the left. Climb up the rope to reach the letter "O," then continue to climb up to the top. Exit the tree to the right, then enter the next tree on the right. Climb the rope up to the top and you'll reach a TNT Barrel.
