| Jinn is a venerable master with a green sabre. The meaning of the colour is uncertain at this stage, but it may be symbolic of his rumoured non-compliance with the wishes of the Jedi Council .. his ‘grey’ status. Jinn is seen to have very fast reactions (as expected) in ducking Maul’s attack on Tatooine. He replies by assuming the HASSO-NO-KAMAE position (sabre upright, the hilt beside his face at the right). He is seen to assume this stance again later in the trailer. I expect Jinn’s style to be solid, strong but somewhat linear. Liam Neeson is a tall and powerful man with a history of sword-using roles ... he is more than capable of a convincing display. He will take advantage of his height and reach rather than flashy athletic moves. His style has a ‘classic’ air to it – he will employ conservative though tried-and-true tactics |
