| The Rain |
 |
| I have always felt a deep connection with rain through my poem I hope you feel the same way |
Like angels descending
The rain comes pending
A massive lightning storm
While kids huddle in uniform
It falls never ending
Always lending
A hand to the hot and borish
The meek and whorish
The one's that complain
They're going insane
Never knowing
Even when showing
The absolute coming of the rain
Drops of water falling around
Making a light splashing sound
And all the while
Raising a smile
The rain continues on
The grass is soaking
Forever choaking
The creatures held below
And all the while the rain continues its flow
Leaves drip here and there
Rain falls everywhere
It feels cool on the skin
And it will invite you in
You'll stay awhile
Not helping but smile
As your body becomes wet
All you think of is it is like a family pet
But then from nowhere
It rips at your hair
Feeling a little fearful
Your worry is undearful
You start trembling all of a sudden
Your shoes have become mudden
You whisper a prayer
And hope that a slayer
Will take the rain away
Up above you see a ray
Of a happy sunshine day
You think to yourself
I'll shrink like an elf
And hide from the rain
But the next moment
The rain went roamin
Off to another place
And the rain left with unspoken grace |
