| In the days of old Stories have been told Tales and legends of glory But there is one true story This is the Good Book It makes you think and look About how your living your life Your eternal struggle and strife Dreaming and hoping all the time Trying to keep in rhyme We dream of what could happen We wonder if we're trappin Our lives in eternal limbo and misery All of this has become mystery But there is hope and peace of mind If you can look inside and find In yourself to come around And listen to His sound Open up the Bible It has no rival Whether past present or future riddle It will be solved without a dribble The Good Book helps all It will even take the fall For when your lonely or feeling blue The Bible will come and help you Think of it with true desire There is no book that takes you higher Prayes hope dreams and thoughts In the end they mean lots For God and Jesus love us all Big creatures small creatures short and tall When you read the Bible you will see There is no other god than He |
