We think about dinosaurs and roman battles

Chris Columbus who sailed bold

And the Europeans quest for gold

Knights princes and princesses

Lords and ladies with flowing dresses

Wizards dragons legends always

Maybe someday we’ll no longer faze

We’ll find out if it’s true or all a lie

And when we do maybe we’ll cry

We’ll discover the truth behind the myth

And finally know who Jefferson was with

When the myths become true and free

Then we’ll no longer wonder we’ll get to see

So as we learn of our history

Remembering before how it was glory

We’ll think how right and wrong we were

And watch great things like the race of Ben Hur
