People sometimes wish they couldn’t see

For sometimes it scares thee

Fear a feeling well disliked

Creeps in and you and you can’t get syked

For if it gets you things go off course

Pain and suffering plus true remorse

We close our eyes to those around

And pretend that we no longer hear sound

Take ourselves in foolish regard

Even when it seems strangely hard

We know our defenses don’t last long

But for when they do we seem strong

We think that by taking what isn’t right

And making it see the true sight

Individually we know what hope is

But when together it can seem to fizz

We don’t like sharing much in life

We’d rather keep it in our own strife

But sooner or later the shield will fall

And when it does you’ll lose it all

Knowing that it has set in

Makes you want to jump and spin

You see through your eyes

Wishing it was gone with no real suprise

Hoping against hope you’ll pull through

You try and run but are seeing in two

Feeling as though when you could see

You had to realize that eternity

Is not what you want to live out

So turning and running you start to shout

“ It all has become clear I wish no more

I finally can close my last door

Taking with me what I treasure

I will leave to some measure

Travel on to a distant place

A place that takes hold in mere space

I go now bid me Adieu

All I see now is what is true”

So now unblinded you start a quest

To find out what really is the best

And by your side all the time

IS the truth and an eternal rhyme
