FIRST MATCH WCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT SEMIFINALS MATCH The Crippler Chris Benoit defeated The Chosen One Jeff Jarrett Chris Benoit nailed Jarrett with a chair shot and got the win. SECOND MATCH WCW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH LOSER PAYS WINNER $25,000 Evan Karagias defeated Disco Inferno Disco accidently hit that MOB guy and then Evan hit a crossbody and got the win. THIRD MATCH WCW HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Screamin' Norman Smiley defeated Nasty Brian Knobs Jimmy Hart accidently hit Brian Knobs and Norman got the win. FOURTH MATCH MIXED TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko, and Asya defeated Billy Kidman, Eddy Guerrero, and Torrie Wilson Saturn pinned Torrie to get the win. FIFTH MATCH LOSER RETIRES FROM WCW Buff Bagwell defeated Curt Hennig Buff hit the Buff Blockbuster on Hennig and got the pin. SIXTH MATCH WCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT SEMIFINALS MATCH Bret Hart defeated Sting Hart beat Sting once but he said he wanted the match to continue because The Total Package interfered. Then Hart beat Sting with the Sharpshooter they then shook hands. SEVENTH MATCH CHAIN MATCH Vampiro defeated Berlyn J.R. did commentary for this match really funny. After the match J.R.'s boy Steve Williams destroyed Vampiro! Vampiro! Vampiro! After the match it was announced that Rick Steiner forfeited the TV Belt to Scott Hall. Hall then put up an open challenge for both belts. EIGHTH MATCH Meng defeated The Total Package Meng couldn't get the Tongan Death Grip on Luger cuz of the neck brace he was wearing. Then Meng ripped it off and applied the Death Grip and got the win. NINTH MATCH TV AND U.S. TITLE MATCH Scott Hall defeated Booker T Creative Control tore up Booker then Hall hit the Outsider's Edge on T and got the win. Then the lights went out and Midnight Booker T's sister came out and saved Booker T from Creative Control and Scott Hall! TENTH MATCH David Flair vs. Kimberly Page NO CONTEST Kim actually did OK in this match. She took off David's cup lucky him. Then Flair attacked Kim pretty rough. Kanyon and Diamond Dallas Page then came out to save Kim. Arn Anderson then appeared to help David Flair. David then went ballistic and attacked Arn Anderson! ELEVENTH MATCH I QUIT MATCH Goldberg defeated Sid Vicious Sid Vicious got knocked unconscious and the ref stopped the match. Again Goldberg could not finish the job the ref stopped the match the last 2 times. TWELVE MATCH MAIN EVENT WCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FINALS WINNER IS THE NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Bret Hart defeated Chris Benoit First Malenko interfered but Hart took him out in a matter of seconds. Then Hall and Nash came after both Hart and Benoit. They fought them off and they continued to fight again. But every move Hart did Benoit would kick out of on 2. Then Hart got the Sharpshooter on Benoit and got the win. Finally Bret Hart got his due. When will Benoit get his? |
