George Lazenby portrayed James Bond in only one film, On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Lazenby got the James Bond role after Sean Connery announced he had done his last Bond film. Lazenby did not have much acting experience coming into the Bond role. He had done primarily TV commercials and modeling. Lazenby only did one Bond film as there was too much conflict between the director and producer's. He left the role by choice and has admitted he had taken bad advise to leave the Bond role. |
