JACOB FRANCIS FORERO. THE ARTIST Born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 1, 1983. Graduate of New Canaan High School (2001). Summer school at Silvermine Art Guild (1996-99). Studied Visual and Performing Arts at Norwalk Community College and SUNY Purchase College (2001-04). Much of Jacob's art consists of working with finished paintings of his and other artists, reconstructing them into cubist collages. His major themes are representational surrealism, impressionism, still life objects, landscapes and portraits.Member of The Greenwich Art Society (June 20, 2005). JACOB FRANCIS FORERO. THE ACTOR. THE FILMMAKER. After taking classes in acting, directing, television and movie production, Jacob had a lead part in the play "Subway Stops" (Jan. 2004) at the Stamford Rich Forum Theatre. He recently finished his first film documentary called "The American Way" which he produced and directed. "The American Way" is a documentary about the great immigration from Europe in the 1890s to the U.S.A. The story is told through the four generations of one family, arriving in poverty, and improving their lifestyle with each generation. This came about from the education and acceptance which the "American Way" afforded them. It comes in a DVD, a short 15 minute film, as well as a 60 minute feature. It was submitted to "Sundance Film Festival" and "The International Moviefone Short Film Festival" 2005.

"THE AMERICAN WAY", a documentary of 1890s immigration to U.S. from Europe.
