Jacob's Ladder

Jacob's Ladder is a local Christian rock band hailing from Northeast Louisiana. The band consists of Callie Smith(Vocals), Clint Adcock (Guitar), Shane Free (Drums), and Justin Smith (Bass). Shane, Justin, and Clint are from Mangham and Callie from West Monroe. Callie started singing for the band in the winter of 2005 and they hit it off great. Clint, Justin, and Shane has been playing music together on and off since around 2000-2001. Callie goes to school at ULM and she is also in a church band. Clint goes to school at ULM and his major is going to be Radio Technology. Shane also goes to school at ULM and his major is Business. Justin goes to Mangham High School and when he graduates he is moving to Houston to go to UTI to become a auto/diesel technician. As for us, we are playing in a Christian Rock band because we love music and God.

Weary and exhausted from the hard day of walking Jacob went into a deep sleep and began to dream. His dream was profound. "He had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it." (28:12).

Our first gig will be in Tallulah at a lock-in for a church on Jan 27, 2006. We are stoked and ready to play our first show. After this gig we plan to play as much as possible. We plan on getting a band or two to play with us one day at the Solid Rock in Rayville, Louisiana as soon as possible. As for now that is all we can tell you about our shows that we will be playing.
