| And I'll Listen (to Your Words) |

I was inspired to write this song while working in an eyeglass factory and listening to my coworker lamenting the fact that she was longing for a particular woman but wasn't sure the other woman felt the same way or even swung that way and the problems that situation brings about.
It was recorded in Patrick Greene's studio in San Diego, with Diane Henderson. Patrick also played synth and laid down a rhythym track.
Come, sit beside me
let me hold you in my arms
Let me be the one to care
Let me be the one to share
CHORUS
And I'll listen to your words
the tears of a thousand lies
And I'll listen to your words
and make them mine
Evening is settin' fast
I see it in your eyes
Let me put your hard times in the past
let me make your sun rise
CHORUS
BRIDGE
You bring out the best in me
there's not enough that I can do
I've got so much love inside of me
for you...
