Objectives:
The Ninth International Water Technology Conference, 17-20th March 2005, Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, is the ninth of a series events initiated by The Water Technology Association, WTA, on "Preserving the Environment by Improving Water Management Policies", which is held every year. The conference will present the most recent technological and scientific developments associated with the water technology, water desalination, environment, hydraulics, hydrology, ecology water resources and related sciences. The conference will be an opportunity to bring together scholars, scientists, experts and researchers confronting end users, managers, decision makers and stakeholders from universities, institutes, agencies and authorities all over the world. They will discuss and develop a general framework for minimizing and retarding the increasing deterioration in water quality. Issues of water quality, contamination, remediation, restoration, purification, treatment technologies, as well as other related topics, are essential to the future of the humanity welfare.

Call For Papers:
Papers are invited on the topics outlined above and others falling within the scope of the meeting. Paper selection is based on the acceptance of an abstract in hardcopy or electronic form in English. Authors of accepted abstracts are requested to submit their full-length papers according the set guidelines. Final acceptance will be based on the full-length paper, which if accepted for publication, must be presented at the conference. The language of the conference will be English. Papers are reviewed by an international scientific advisory committee. Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be submitted as soon as possible. We strongly encourage the submission of abstracts electronically. Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper.
Conference Awards:
There will be five conference financial awards for the best paper in each topic offered by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Abudulaziz International Prize for Water.

Location: South Sinai, Egypt
EGYPT is the Museum of History and the melting pot of the greatest civilizations throughout the ages. On its land the Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Christian and Islamic civilizations flourished. South Sinai extends from Taba on the Gulf Aqaba through the north of Al-Tih desert to Ras Messallah on Suez in the west till Ras Mohamed in the south. It has the highest mountain in Egypt, the summit of Saint Catherine, which is 2637 meters high above sea level. It is distinguished by its wonderful climate throughout the year and by its various orchards.
Venue: Sharm El-Sheikh
Sharm El-Sheikh lies on the Aqaba Gulf, an international summer and winter resort preferred by vacationers to experience fishing swimming, diving and relaxing. It has places for accommodation, tourist villages, hotels connected with the well-equipped diving centres and camping site. An excellent golf course overlooks the bay. Sharm El-Sheikh international airport handles large aircrafts.

Transporting is excluded from registration fees coverage.
