The single was released for play on Monday (in the US) but I haven't heard it at ALL on my local radio stations.. hmm.. what's the deal? lol.. I have tried to call but it's always busy. No new content or video like Ash promised us.. hmm... The new Hanson.net isn't up but if you go to Hanson.net they give you a discription of what the NEW Hanson.net will offer.. I am starting a poll to see who wants the new Hanson.net and who doesn't.. I DON'T because they are making you pay 6 dollars a month to use the message board! And 15 dollars a month to get the ISP which doesn't offer much anyway.. I think is just a way to isolate Hanson fans even more! I mean some Hanson fans don't even have computer- yah know? Well.. sorry guys.. I had to vent! ;) My life has been.. fun actually.. yesterday me, Jeff and my friend Mary spent the whole day pigging out, bowling (on the computer)..singing (we are making demo tapes.. stay tuned!) and playing basketball! ;) It was so cool! Today I'm going over to Jeff's house to watch American Pie, which I haven't seen yet.. I heard it's a really good movie! Well gtg.. I had to keep the phone free for a while.. b) New phone plan costs us 8 cents a phone call.. so I can't really get online as much as I used to be able to. Sorry! Onto Hanson News.. I have been reading a lot of Hanson's interviews lately and they talk about dating a lot.. They talk about how they would probably never date a fan because they don't want it to be superficial. On behalf of Isaac, Taylor, Zac, and everyone else involved with HANSON, I would like to thank everyone for their patience during the making of the new album, "This Time Around." Your wait will be richly rewarded--we think the music speaks for itself. Many fans have e-mailed to ask how they can help support the band as the first single goes to radio. Here are some suggested guidelines to keep in mind: 1) Only contact radio stations through their official request channels. This could be a phone number, e-mail address, or both...all that matters is that it be the radio station's 'official' method of fielding requests. Personal e-mail addresses, business office phone lines, personal employee phone lines, etc. should never be used, as they are not counted by any of the stations and often frustrate the DJs and their staffs. 2) Only contact broadcast radio stations in your local area. Requesting the single at a broadcast radio station outside your listening area does not help Hanson. Caller ID and other identification methods reveal where a call and/or e-mail originated. Stations often disregard these requests and too many of them can become annoying. An exception to this would be internet radio stations which can be located anywhere. Keep in mind, however, that these stations can tell if you are an actual listener and requests from fans who don't tune in to the station are ignored. Above all, please be reasonable in the number of requests you make. Bombarding the stations with requests could be counterproductive. That's all for now.
