"Day of the Dead"(1980, George A. Romero)
7 out of 10 stars
Aside from making sence of the whole zombie thing, the film drags a bit. Basically, survivors of the latest zombie outbreak hide underground to avoid zombie attacks.
"The Day the Earth Stood Still"(1951, Robert Wise)

"Dead Alive"(1992, Peter Jackson)
10 out of 10 stars
The best zombie film of the past 10 years involves a man who's mother contracts a rare disease when bitten by a sumerian rat monkey. his mother soon infects the whole town. This is the goriest movie I've ever seen. MUCH gorier than all of H.G. Lewis's and Romero's work COMBINED! See it unrated! I kick ass for the Lord!
"Deadly Weapons"(1970, Doris Wishman)
6 out of 10 stars
Chesty Morgan (73-32-36) takes on the mob using only her God-given weapons. To avenge the death of her husband, Chesty goes to smother mafia hitmen with her best assets. Some campy moments, but mostly boring. If you are interested in Chesty, check out "Double Agent 73", a much better film.
"Desperate Living" (1977, John Waters)
10 out of 10 stars
Mink Stole, Liz Phair, Edith Massey, and Susan Lowe star in the masterpiece of early John Waters's work. An "adult fairy tale" involves Peggy Gravel who accidently kills her husband and runs away with the maid to Mortville (which is where criminals go when they don't want to go to jail). If you enjoyed "Pick Flamingoes" or "Serial Mom", check this out !
"Dolemite"(1975, D'Urville Martin)
8 out of 10 stars
A foul mouthed ex-con attempts to settle the score with former partners who took over his nightclub in his absence. Footage from this film can be found in the ODB video "Got Your Money". The sequel, "Human Tornado" is even better.
