| ----------- Submited by: Elisa Story Name: Almost cut off my tounge It was on a Thursday after school when i was walking home, i was chewing gum, and making bubbles with it when you have to wrap the gum around your tounge and blow out. I did that, then i just suddenly tripped on my own foot (you know how you do that sometimes?) And feel chin first into the pavement, my chin was OK since i used my hands to help stop me from really hurting myself. I started to sit up, and all i saw was blood dripping from my chin, i just thought i hurt my chin till i felt my tounge pain with this big numbing feeling. That night i went to the casualty. They said i almost bit my tounge off, but all i did was need alot of stitches because i ALMOST bit my tounge off. ----------- Submited by: Margaret Story Name: The bee sting OK, i know getting stung by a bee is sore, but it isn't... painful! I went out with my parents on an ordanary day to a Theme Park. When lunch finally arrived and i sat down to eat my ham sandwitch. Then when i came to drink my coke, i felt this instant STING in the side of my jaw. I opened my mouth screaming, all the coke poured all over the floor, and it was worse since i almost swallled the bee. It was the most painful thing that has ever happened to me! ------------ Submited by: Sarah Claire Story name: In-growing toe nail operation Yes everybody gets problems with their body sometimes, in my case, it was an in-growing toe nail in my left big toe. I had the problem for about a year when i finally got my operation (long waiting list), and by this time, my other toe got one too. The most painful thing... was when they injected me with the needles to numb my toes. They used 2 thin long needles for one toe. The pain went on for (it felt like..) 5 minutes just to numb my one toe. When she finally finished, i gasped a sigh of realief with a little laugh, smile and some tears. Then, she turned around and said "Don't relax yet. You still have one more toe to numb" And the same thing just repeated itself, but in my other toe. The rest of the op went OK, my nail to my left nail has grown back fully. But my other toe hasn't, they did it a little wrong and i have the new nail trying to grow over the older nail... it's sick.
