My Mammaw
The angels sang when they heard her voice
The birds silenced as she was seen
The animals calmed when she walked by
The Lord called when it was her time.
God listened her prayers for her children
He saw her devoted commitment
He comforted her through the hard times
She walked through the gates of heaven looking for her savior one
When her work on earth was eventually done.
Her wish was granted.
One day I'll see her again and say, " I love you, Mammaw."
