Get All The Starting Pokémon

Required:
1 - both versions
2 - game link
3 - The rest of the stuff to trade
-----------------------------------------------------------------
1.First with red version start a game and choose Charmander. Then
go to the fields capture 3 Pokémon.
2.Now on blue version start and choose squirtle or bulbasaur.
3.Now trade what ever Pokémon with one of three Pokémon from the
red version and keep on doing this until both packs have all
three begining Pokémon.

OR

What you will do is use one Game Boy as Pokémon storage and the
other Game Boy as Pokémon capturer.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
1.Start a new game with Game Boy A.
2.Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Squirtle.
3.Go to nearest Pokémon Center and trade Squirtle to Game Boy B.
4.Start a new game with Game Boy A.
5.Repeat 2 through 4.
6.Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Charmander.
7.Go to nearest Pokémon Center and trade Charmander to Game Boy B.
8.Start a new game with Game Boy A.
9.Repeat 6 through 8.
10.Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Bulbasaur.
11.Go to nearest Pokémon Center and trade Bulbasaur to Game Boy B.
12.Start a new game with Game Boy A.
13.Repeat 10.
14.There should be 2 Squirtles and 2 Charmanders on Game Boy B, so
now trade one of each back to Game Boy A.

Pokémon cloning (W/ 2 Gameboys)

To begin, you must have two Gameboys linked. Gameboy A has the
pokémon to be cloned (I cloned Mewtwo, but any one will work), and
Gameboy B will have the pokémon to be erased because they will get
the cloned pokémon (a weak pokémon like Magikarp will do. They're
easy to catch and worthless unless evolved). Gameboy A will be the
first to enter the Cable Club, and the first to trade or this code
will not work. Gameboy A will trade the good pokémon, and Gameboy
B will trade the bad one. After Gameboy A gets the bad pokémon the
screen will say "waiting". Gameboy A will turn off the Gameboy the
second "waiting" clears off the screen. Then Gameboy B's screen
will say "trade complete". The screen won't clear, so you'll have
to turn the Gameboy off. Then, restart the game and you'll have a
cloned pokémon! The weak pokémon will have disappeared because it
never really traded (or didn't finish trading).
I've never had trouble with this code, but I heard it can mess up
your saved game. So, if anything happens, don't blame me 'cause I
didn't make this code, and I'm not making you use it.

OR

Works on both American Versions.
Here is a trick to duplicate your pokémon. This works on the
American versions. I will try to explain it as good as I can. For
this trick to work, you need both games and two gameboys. Here is
what you do:
1. Put the pokémon you want duplicated into one of the games.
Either red or blue. Let's use red for an example.
2. Put a pokémon you don't mind losing in the other cartridge.
Which is blue.
3. Go to the trade center and trade the pokémon you want
duplicated (red) with the one you want to erase (blue).
4. After they are traded, leave the game (blue) on with the
pokémon you erased and turn the game (red) off with the pokémon
you wanted duplicated, before the "Trade Completed" sign
appears, right after the "Waiting..." sign disappears.
If you did the steps right, the game (red) with the pokémon you
wanted duplicated should still be there and the one you erased on
the other game (blue) should be the same as the one you traded. I
tried to explain it as best as I could so don't get mad at me if
you can't get it working.
**Note: This might mess up your game, but I had no trouble with
it. If anything happens to your game please do not put the blame
on me. This is little bit dangerous.

OR

You need a friend for this. Trade the Pokémon to be cloned and
have you friend get a Pokémon they don't care about. Trade them,
and make sure the person getting the bad Pokémon can see the
other's screen. When the receiver of the good Pokémon's screen
says "waiting", get ready to shut the other one off. When the
waiting disappears, turn off the Game Boy that's getting the bad
Pokémon. When the other one says trade completed, turn that one
off too. When you turn the games back on, you should both have the
Pokémon.
Warning: This could erase you game so be careful.

OR

This could seriously mess up your game and it may not work, so use
with caution: Here is a code that you can use to duplicate
Pokémon! Set up a trade with the Pokémon that you want to be
multiplied and any other Pokémon. That other Pokémon will be
erased.
Say I wanted to multiply Articuno, I would set up a trade with
someone and trade them my Articuno. They would trade my anything
that they didn't want. Near the end of the trade It says:
Waiting... and Trade Complete!
When it says Waiting... get ready as soon as it disappears off
that screen shut the gameboy off that is trading the one to be
multiplied. The other game will say Trade Complete! Shut that GB
off. Both People will now have that Pokémon!

OR

NOTE: This may cause your saved game to screw up!

Duplicate Pokémon

Go to Viridian City and talk to the Old guy that shows you how to
cetch a Weddle. Reply "No" to his question, then watch him catch a
Weedle. Now place the pokémon you want to copy in the 4th spot on
the list of ones you carry! Now FLY to Cinnabar Island and start
SURFING up and down like for missingo. You'll hit a few pokémon
along the way and then you'll get a long pause and this other
messed up looking pokémon with a bunch of symbols for a name! Now
it will show it at level 0. Just keep throwing balls at it untill
it is caught. The game will go through the normal stuff, but no
new poke data. Now it will transfer it to bill's computer. Ok then
YIPE it comes back immediately. Just run from it after you catch
it once. Now go to the poke center and look in your box. You have
an exact copy of your 4th pokémon waiting for you!

Note: I've had dificulties with this code, but it does work.
Also, fighting Missingno messes up your Hall of Fame listing

Duplicate Items

to get 99 master balls and put one in the sixth slot. then go
fight missingno and after you should have 99 master balls. works
with other items like TM's Rare Candy(a real good idea) and so on.

OR

In order to get the 99 masterball trick you must first trade for
an electrode in the first room of the Cinnabar pokémon Lab.MAKE
SHURE YOU MOVE THE 1 MASTERBALL YOU HAVE INTO THE 6TH POSITION OF
YOUR ITEMS. Then go to the east coast of the island. Surf up and
down the the coast (so that it looks like your half on land and
half in the water) until you get into a fight with a pokémon
called Missingo. DON'T CATCH IT, instead run away and you should
have 99 masterballs.

OR

to duplicate items, go to safari zone and let time expire. fly to
cinabar island and go in the lab. trade a pokémon with someone.
swim on the side (like the code before) and missingdo will appear,
don't campture him, beat him( his level is 80 but his defense is
only 5) the 6th item on your item list will then be at 139! (i
recommend duplicating rare candies or your masterball).

OR

A side effect of fighting pokémon from the right side of the
Seafoam islands is that the sixth item on your list of items you
are carrying will be increased beyond 100. In order for the game
to show you a number higher than 99, it uses non-alpha-numeric
characters in the ten's place to represent 100, 110, 120, etc.,
much like the original Super Mario Brothers« (produced by
Nintendo of America Inc.) represented extra lives beyond, what
was it, 100? This can be used on Master Balls, Rare Candy, and
other great items.

OR

When you go into a battle with a MissingNo., the 6th Item in your
"ITEM" menu will become maxed out. So, you can have 1 Master Ball
in the 6th Item Slot, go into a battle with a MissingNo., and then
you have 100+ Master Balls! You can do this unlimited times and
sell the Items for major money!
NOTE: This code will work regardless if you catch MissingNo. or not.
Fighting missingno will mess up your hall of fame listing.

Fish in statues

It's wierd, but you can fish in statues! Simply use the rod!
Sometimes you can find rare water pokémon this way.

Slot Machine Odds Info.

All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every
time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then
stick with that one, because it's probably hot. If the slow
machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will
probably give you one or the other soon.

Easy money in the game corner

First of all you have to have Super Game Boy and an auto fire
controller. Second you should have at least 500 coins. Then you
need to go to the slot machine right above the girl who says "I
think these machines have different odds." Then just leave it on
for quite awhile and your coins will rack up. NOTE: It may seem
like you are losing some times but you will end up with a lot of
coins.

Game corner tip

In the casino above the guy with the glasses that you usually find
in gyms is a slot machine with great odds. The way I got a porygon
was simple but still long. Save the game when you hit the jackpot
After a while the game is fixed and you will either get multiple
wins, or hit the jackpot- doing that you eventually start to win
several hundred at a time. By hitting the a button rapidly it sets
a pattern to make sure you now when the jackpot comes up- the slot
machine starts to slow down.

Ghost Computer

Go to Celadon City and make your way to the motel. go to the far
right wall and make ash look north and he be in the middle square.
Press A and What's this? OHMYGOSH!!!! a Ghost computer!!

Coins hidden at the game corner

In the gamecorner there are three machines that you can't use. If
you visit each one, from right to left, without going to any
others, then go to the shelves in the upper right hand corner, and
the third shelf from the left will have a 100 coins.

OR

There are many hidden coins hidden around the floor of the game
corner. Just click A all over and you should find groups of 50
and 100 all over.

OR

There are hidden coins lying around in the Game Corner. You can
pick them up by walking around and pressing the A button.

Get a Kakuna, or Metapod that can attack

First, you must capture a Caterpie, or a Weedle, before they're at
level 7 (level 7 is when they evolve into Metapod/Kakuna) Note:
In doing this, you do not get Harden. Yet another note: They will
only stay in Kakuna/Metapod for three levels, after that you get
Butterfree/Beedrill.

L. 100+ Pokémon

While you are SURFING, on the Right side of the Seafoam Islands
where you're half on and half off the land you should encounter
other Pokémon at extremely high Levels, like a level 181
Rapidash. Catch 'em as you would any other Pokémon.

OR

Probably another glitch, but you can actually catch pokémon that
their Level is higher than 100! Here's how to do it:
1. Go to the Old Man, who blocked you off earlier in the game, in
Viridian City.
2. Talk to him, and when he asks if you're in a hurry, say no.
3. Once he's done talking to you, Fly to Cinnabar Island without
going to any places where you can fight pokémon.
4. Surf up and down the right edge of the island, and when you
enter a pokémon fight, you can find a pokémon whose Level is
100+!
But you may not always find pokémon with 100+ Level because this
trick works sort of like the one at Seamfoam Islands. The stats of
the pokémon are like they would be at that level. For Golduck,
which was at L152, all of his stats are 260+!
NOTE: The major downside of this trick is that if the pokémon gets
any EXP (Even 1 point), its Level will go back down to L100 which
can be good anyways. You can also find Missingno here, but he is
even more glitched when you try to get him than with other codes.
This trick works best if you use the pokémon in the Cable Club
since you can't gain any EXP when you fight a friend. This can
also mess up your pokémon Hall of Fame on the PC.

ALSO

You have to use the "Fight pokémon Over L100+" code first, then
get into a battle with a pokémon over L100. Then once you have
captured a pokémon thats over L100, use the "Infinite Items" cheat
to get 100+ Rare Candies, and then feed it TONS of Rare Candies!
You should save the game often, though, because after a certain
Level (after L255 for my MissingNo.) It will go all the way back
to L0!

OR

I have the sure fire way to catch level 100 pokemon and missingno
on the American red/blue versions. It works on both! First go to
Viridian City and talk to the guy, who at the beginning of the
game wouldn't let into Viridian forest until you delivered Oak's
Parcel. He'll ask you if you're in a hurry, say no!. he'll tell
you how to catch pokemon. After talking to him go to Cinnabar
Island and surf on the right edge missingno and all for what I
know four different types of level 100 pokemon. (Electrode,
Snorlax,Marowak,Clefable.)(Don't catch missingno it will mess up
you game badly, but he gives you a lot of EXP.) Use this info.
wisely.

Moon Stones

There are five Moon Stones, three of which are visible, two of
which are not.

1) In the upper-lefthand corner of the first floor of Mt. Moon.
2) In the basement of the game corner.
3) In the bottom-right corner of Route 2 (CUT).
4) In Mt. Moon, before the supernerd's platform, there is a
corridor 4 spaces long and 1 space wide, go to the end of it
and press A and poof! you have a Moon Stone.
5) In the pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island, go up to the right
side of one of the pillars on the right-hand side near the
entrance hit A and it will say you found a Moon Stone.

OR

1. This piece is in the Mt. Moon cave, near the entrance.
2. The second was taken by Team ROCKET. It is at the bottom of
their secret base in Celadon City.
3. This one is left by a Clefairy at near Virridian. It is behind
one of the bushes at the beginning of the game, near Viridian
City to the right.
4. This forth one was hidden in the pokémon Mansion in Cinnibar
Island. It is behind the third pillar at the right in the first
room.
5. There is another Moon Stone in the Mt. Moon cave, right before
the Super Nerd that found the fossils, there is a "dead end",
but searching it will produce another Moon Stone.

These rare and fragile stones should be used on: Nidorino,
Nidorina, Clefairy, and Jigglypuff. They will evolve into
Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Clefable, and Wigglytuffs respectively.

The Power Plant

Go to Cerrulean City, head toward Saffron but don't go to Saffron.
Instead, take the path that leads East toward Rock Tunnel. Don't
go into Rock Tunnel, instead go North to the water and SURF. It
will lead you to Power Plant. Be Careful, some of the things that
look like Poke Balls are actually Voltorbs.

OR

If you are looking for electric type Pokémon, don't sweat it. Go
to the entrance of rock tunnel (by Cerulean city) and use the surf
ability at the river nearby. Just follow the only path, that will
take you to an old power plant. You will find Many Voltorbs,
Medium Pikachu's, Medium Magnemite, Few Raichu's and VERY Few
Electrodes. Note: Electrodes will always use self-destruct, it's
easier to trade a Raichu for an Electrode at the Cinabar Islands.

Improved Pokéballs:

To let a Great Ball act like a master ball press up + B when
thrown, and to let a Poke Ball act that way press down + B.

OR

To help increase your chances of catching a pokémon, press
B + Down when you use a Poke Ball or press B + Up when you use an
Ultra Ball.

OR

Throw any kind of Pokeball (Greatball, Ultraball, or Pokeball),
and after it is released from your hand, hold UP + B. The ball
will act like a Masterball! I caught Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos,
and Snolax with this handy trick. It works, but takes a bit of
practice to get right. The trick works on both versions.

OR

When you are trying to catch a Pokémon, after sending a
Pokéball, hit the A button while repeatedly pressing the right
arrow key. If it doesn't work the first couple of times keep
trying, it should work after a practice shots.

OR

This code is very effective and very simple. When you throw the
pokeball at the pokémon and that puff of smoke appears, press and
hold "B" and up on the direction pad. If the timing is right its a
100% capture rate!!!

OR

Throw a Pokeball then push Up and B and Hold them untill the
pokémon is caught (or in some cases it gets away) HINT: This code
takes some practice to perfect.

OR

When you throw a Poke-ball hold down "A" button as it closes on
the pokémon. The poke-ball will shut tighter and it will be easier
to catch the pokémon.

OR

There is a code for the USA version (it might work for the
Japanese version too) to catch pokémon easier. When you throw a
Poke-ball hold down "A" button as it closes on the pokémon. The
poke-ball will shut tighter and it will be easier to catch the
pokémon.

OR

To catch a pokémon without fighting it. Right when you throw a
pokeball simply hold (B), and press up

OR

When you throw a Safari Ball, the instant you see the ball
materialize, start rotating the pad from the left in a
counterclockwise motion at a semi-slow speed. I have been able to
catch the most difficult Pokémon in the Safari Zone multiple times
It's not 100% effective, but it is in the 80% area, and the ones
that escape the ball and run away, I usually catch the next
Pokémon right away. I want to be sure this is a legitimate trick,
so I call on everyone to try it on your GBs in the Safari Zone.

Help with finding and defeating Sabrina

When you enter the Saffron City gym you'll see a warp next to a
trainer. Step into it. You'll appear in another room full of warps
and a Trainer. Step into the warp on your left. Then step into the
warp below you. Then step into the warp on your left. And then,
step into the warp on your left.

Once done that, you'll come in to a room with one warp and that's
the one your standing on. Now talk to the trainer in the room,
and get ready to defeat Sabrina.

Here are the Pokémon she will use:

Kadabra - L38
MR. MIME - L37
Venomoth - L38
Alakazam - L43

These are all psychic Pokémon and very powerful. Your best bet
against these guys is a Venusaur or any other grass-type Pokémon.
Use your Razor Leaf if you have a Venusaur. If you win you'll
receive her Marsh Badge which will ensure any Pokémon up to L70
will obey you. You'll also get a TM46.
