| All right. For those of you who were pestering me, here's the walkthrough. It's not as long as the other one, but If you read my other one, you'll know the basics. Ok. You start the game with a pikachu(no kidding sherlock) and gary starts the game with an eevee. It gets annoying after a while, but I think that you better defeat gary all the places you fight him so you will get the experience and he will turn his eevee into a jolteon. Now some of you might say that doing that is stupid, but trust me. You get lots of exp. and you can pick up a diglett or dugtrio in diglett's cave to take them out. Now Brock is hard, since none of your pikachu's attacks are good/ don't affect him, so get something like a butterfree with confusion to take care of him. Misty's a different story because you pikachu is super effective against her pokemon. She still has the same two pokemon staryu and Starmie. By the way, At the top of nugget bridge is a guy with a charmander. Don't forget to pick it up. Also in Cerelean City, there is a lady inside a house who will give you her bulbasaur if your pikachu is extremely happy. Then go on to vermillion city, where Surge is waiting for you. Now I'm telling you from experience, for those of you who are used to beating surge with a L21 Diglett. YOU WILL DIE. Surges Raichu has mega kick, which will kick any Diglett's butt from here to here(after going around the world a few times. I got killed doing it. I went back to diglett's cave and got a L31 Dugtrio, and then had sweet revenge. Finnaly, pick up squirtle when you beat surge from Vermillion. OK. I'm back. Mostly everthing else from there on is the same until you get to Erika, the grass gym leader. Pikachu is not very effective against grass, so this would be a good time to pull out Charmander(and a flying type if you have one) and beat her bum. By the way, she has this time a Gloom, a weepinbell, and a Tangela. She's pretty easy. When you get to Fuschia,, this might cause the problem. In my opinion, Koga was definitely the hardest gym leader. He has 3 Venonats which all have Toxic and Double team, and then a really fast Venomoth who also has Toxic and double team. It is hard, but not impossible. Then everything else is also the same again until Blaine. He has an Arcanine, a Ninetails, and a Rapidash. He's not that hard once again. Then there is Sabrina, who is incredibly easy. She has an Abra, a Kadabra, and an Alakazam. Then Finnaly, there is Giovanni, who has one pokemon that really got on my nerves. That darn Persian. It has double team, and it has slash, which is 99% of the time a critical hit. also there is Nidoking and queen, dugtrio, and Rhydon. Use your squirtle or blastoise here. Then everything else is the same, except for your rival. He has, starting from the beginning if he chose jolteon: Sandslash, Alakazam, Exeggutor, Cloyster, Ninetales, and Jolteon. I don't know what he has for his Electric for other cases, but have fun! Oh ya, the unknown dungeon is also different. I just ran around till I found Mewtwo. That's about all you can do. |
