youI cannot promise a complete walkthrough for gold and silver yet because I am just beating it in english. But I can give you most of it. Here we go.
You start off G/S by setting the date and time. This time is always accurate and the game's days are equal to real days. When you start the game, you start in your room. Go downstairs and get the pokegear from your mom. Then go to prof Elm's lab. Get the starter that fits you. There is Cyndiquil, Todotile, the water type, and Chikorita, the grass type. After you get one, go then outside the lab and go to the left, which is toward Cherrygrove city. Make sure you train some. When you get to Cherrygrove, go north and you will reach Pro. Oak. Get the pokedex, and you'll get a call from Pro. Elm saying one of his pokemon was stolen. When you try to go back to New Bark town(the starting point of the game), you fight your rival. His thing is level five. Beat him and go to Pro. Elm. He will tell you some useless stuff but you will get some pokeballs. Visit your mom and get her to save your money for you. Go back to Cherrygrove and go north again, just this time instead of bearing right to go to Oak, bear left and keep heading north. You will eventually reach Violet City. There is Faulker, the flying Gym Leader, who has a Pidgey and a Pidgeotto. Whip him up, the go to Bellsprout which is in the north on the city. All the guys there have bellsprouts, so cyndiquil is good there. the last guy has a Hoothoot. Beat him and get Flash. Then go to the south of the city. go through that route, and after you walk a while, you will reach Azalea town. There is the slowpoke well and kurt(besides the gym). First, before you can fight Bugsy, you must go visit Kurt, who is in the north of the town. He will then run off and go open up slowpoke's well for you. Go in, beat all the rockets, and Kurt will then make balls out of apricorns for you that you have found. He'll make one a day for you. Then go fight Bugsy. She has a Kakuna, Metapod, and a Scyther. She's not had with Cyndiquil. Go to the west of the town then, and your rival will stop you, and fight you. Beat him, then go into the forest to your left. The will be a guy there who has lost his boss's farfecth'd. You will run into the farfetch'd many times and just talk to it when you find it all the times, and eventually, it will go back to the guy, and he will give you the HM 01(Cut). Go to the north of the forest(you'll have to use cut to get through. Go out, and keep going north and there will be the day care and Goldenrod City. You will come back here many times in the game. Here there is a Radio Tower, the gym, Bill, the daycare, and the place where you get the squirtbottle. First, beat Whitney the gym leader to get the Plainbadge. She has A clefairy, and a Miltank with rollout. Rollout is an attack that just keeps getting more and more powerful, so take it out quick. Then go north and go out of the city. You'll reach the place with the bug catching game. This event happens once every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. you get a sunstone for firstprize. Then go to the east of the bug catching game, and you will reach a tree that wiggles if you hit A. If you have the squirtbottle, it will attack you. It is a level 20 Sudowoodo. it's pretty powerful, so try and catch it. Then go north and you will reach Euratuck(or however you spell it) town. Here there is a gym(no kidding), The five eevee sister people, burned tower, and the place where Hoh-oh is. The Gym leader has ghost types. Use ground. My choice would be a graveler's Magnitude. He has a Gastly, 2 Haunters, and a Gengar. They keep using curse which is a good thing because you can take them out easily, but make sure you change after you beat one so the curse goes away. Beat him, and go to a house with 2 men and 5 girls. Each of those girls have an Eevee form. Umbreon and Espeon are the two that you should be unfarmiliar with. Espeon is a psychic type, and Umbreon is a Dark type. Beat them all and talk to the man with his Rhydon and he'll give you surf. Also, when you go into the Pokemon center, you will meet Bill, who has finished working on his time machine. When you eventually go back to goldenrod, go visit him on the west side of town and he'll give you an eevee. But for now, stay where you are. Now go to the west and you'll reach a route where there are a 2 houses, and a farm. The smaller house has a dying Miltank in it. Feed it a berry each day for a certian amount of time, and the people in the big house will give you something good. Go south of the house and you'll meet you rival again, but he isn't going to battle you this time. He'll say the gym leader is in the lighthouse caring for a sick pokemon. Go in the lighthouse and beat all the people and find your way to Whitney, the gym leader. She'll be with an Ampharos(the final evolution of Mareep). She says it needs some medicine, so surf off the coast and go south and west. If you run into some islands with whirlpools, just pass them. When you reach the city across the sea, go into all the houses until you find the guy with the medicine. Get it and then go to the Gym. This gym is fighting. Use flying or psychic. Get the badge, then go to the lady right outside the gym. She'll give you fly(Yippee!). Then fly back to the lighthouse and go visit Whitney again and She'll go back to the gym. Go fight her. She has steel types. Steelix(the evo. of Onix) and...something else. I thing it's like a skarmory or something. Anyways, fire is good on steel so use fire(quilava or Typholosion is a good choice here). Go back to Eurateck, and this time go to the east. You'll see a cave, but don't bother with it. Just surf acroos the water both times and go go right, and you'll be in Mahogany town. You can't go into the gym until you go north to the Lake of Rage with the red Gyrados at LV 30. Then Catch it (duh) After you do that, there will be a guy standin' in front of the lake in a cape. It is Lance, the dragon master from red and blue. He'll tell you to go back to Mahogany, so go there and go into the house in the center of the town. You should find Lance there (if you don't, you're in the wrong house). He'll open up a secret passage going downstairs. Go down, then find your way to some stairs (you'll have to fight lots of rockets, so be prepared). When you do, Lance will heal your pokemon. Then you'll have to find two special rockets. Only two of them will have a key. The only clue I can give you is one of them is a red head. Those keys are used for opening a secret door with a rocket and a talkin' skarmory. Beat the guy, then talk to the skarmory. It'll give you a password to another door. Go through that door, and you'll find Lance again. You'll have to beat three electrodes and then Lance will give you the HM Whirlpool. Go in the Gym and Whip up on the gym leader then. I'll finsih the it later with a walkthrough of the ice cave, waterfall, and Clair. Have fun ya'll(after all, that's what this is about). |
