Hi! Welcome to Hugs-N-Kisses Day Care's Home Page. Hugs-N-Kisses is a home based day care located in Plymouth, Indiana. My name is Galiena Montgomery and my partner, who is also my cousin is Victoria Montgomery. I have 8+ years experience in child care with 3 years experience as a live-in nanny, where I lived in Boston. Victoria has earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development and is currently working towards her Bachelors.
Before we started our day care we did some investigating of the existing day cares in our area. What we found was that many of them are "just that"...DAY CARES! At Hugs-N-Kisses, we have a structured program, which is run much like a pre-school. The children are constantly in our presence and we have organized activities. We DO NOT provide transportation of any kind for our children (unless there is an emergency situation). Most of the children we care for are between the ages of 2 and 7. We do not accept children under the age of 2 or above the age of 12. We do work with children who are in the process of being potty trained. We also work with special needs children (e.g., ADD, ADHD, etc.) Our day care is geared more towards the toddler age. We do many learning activities which involve counting, the alphabet, color recognition, tying shoes, following directions, shape recognition, etc.
We pride ourselves in being very attentive to what caring parents want and need for their active toddler. We do have a waiting list and space is limited. We currently only care for 10-11 children at a time. (Our state license maximum is 12) Please call today to schedule an interview!
