"In his spare time, the Mojo is known to read like Piggy eats bacon. So he will tell you what he knows on the matter. Thigh highness would also like to inform you, you should read all these books because they are all keys to the universe. ...thank you..."
referance
This section is for both your's and my referance. I will be putting down books I've read and where I've made connections with them to the Harry Potter books.

The Chronicles of Narnia-

Both of these series consist of 7 books, both involve children going into an unknown world, and all end with a climatic war. These two series have alot in common so why not have even more in common as the series continues? Will Harry Potter go biblical too? Will Dumbledore die and then return? Will animals begin to talk to Harry? Only time will tell my friends... (C.S. Lewis)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Lord of the Rings-

I think these two series will both involve long journies to salvation, so there's something in common right there, right? But not much is actually similar between the two really, besides wizards, dwarves, goblins, and elves existing in both. I guess only time will tell, eh? Maybe Harry will have to desroy a part of Voldemort to get rid of him. Good, there's some mind fodder. to learn more about this book click here
(J.R.R. Tolkien)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Series of Unfortunate Events-

Well, the two both have people having really bad luck...
And don't forget both center around a galactic mystery... (Lemony Snicket... right)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy-

Don't even know why I put this this down really. I suppose as a joke. Well both do have humor. "HitchHiker's Guide to The Galaxy" is about a man and an alien (Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect, respectively) who hitchhike off Earth right before it's blown up to make room for a highway. Blabbitty, blabbitty...meet two-headed alien...blabbity blabbitty... discover Earth was just a giant compuer run by mice. Yes, I do love the 5-book HitchHiker's trilogy... to find out more about this book, click here.
(Douglas Adams)

H.G. Wells-

THE BEST AUTHOR EVER!
The Time Machine- Will Harry go into the future and see where the world is heading like the time-traveler did in this one? Hopefully, the Eloi and Morlocks don't exist.
The Island of Dr. Moreau- My favorite book of all time. Not much is actually similar, oops.
The Invisible Man- Harry has had to deal with his malformity just like this man, hopefully he doesn't go berzerk like him though and end up killing people.
The War of the Worlds- A huge war will be fought in both, but I doubt to the same bacterial end.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
George Orwell-

Depressing man
1984- Actually both involve faulty forms of government, except with 1984 being on a slightly more massive scale. I really hope poor Harry never comes to this.
Animal Farm- I do not have the slightest wink of where these two relate. Oh well, put it down anyway.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Star Wars-

It could be possibe Harry gets the Anakin-syndrome and turns evil only to be redeamed at the end? Nawww...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ender's Game-

Nope, nothing but children at a school saving the world from aliens. (Orson Scott Card)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spirited Away-

Not a book but a great MOVIE NONE-THE-LESS! Hopefully we'll see the same heart and beautiful presentation in Prisoner of Azkaban.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lord of the Flies-

I just finished reading this one. If you don't know already, it's about a bunch of boys (ages 6-12) stranded on a tropical island. This society of boys is supposed to be a miniature representation of society. Ralf is democracy, and authority; he is the leader of the government with his wise chounsil, Piggy. He rules with the majestic conch shell. Jack, his opposer, represents barbarianism, the beast gone wild. These two forces work against eachother which eventually leads to the deaths of Piggy and Simon (the Christ figure). Anyway, how does this all relate to Harry Potter? Well, I don't know really, but both revolve around children. Plus, Harry's story is kind of going in the direction of mirroring our true Muggle society during times of conflict. However, somehow I highly doubt J.K. Rowling will take Harry in this direction. Does she also believe that, when it comes down to it, man is evil? (William Golding)

Romeo & Juliet

Starstruck lovebirds die. Will the same fate come between Ron and Hermione? They both come from two different societies. Hermione from the muggle world, Ron from the magic. Could Molly have a prejudice that hasn't been seen yet? Let's hope it doesn't end in the same way though.
(um... some Shakespeare guy)
