Harry Potter's Christmas Present And His New Year's Resolutions

A Daily Prophet Exclusive:

Harry Potter for Christmas has gotten the one thing that he wanted. To be away from the Dursleys! Dumbledore set up a meeting with Sirus, and the three spent the Christmas together on an island no one knows about. And they intend on staying there until New Years!
Harry Potter's New Year's Resolution is that he is going to tell Cho-Chang (his secret crush) that he really likes her. Do you think that he is? Well, keep reading DP to find out.

New Creature Breed Discovered!

Newton Artemis Fido Scamander, or Newt Scamander: the author of one of the hit bestsellers in Flourish and Blotts (and other book shops), have found a new and interresting creature while he was hunting for Dugbogs in the forests of Hogsmeade. He named it: Acro-octaped. This spider-like creature is a cross of the venomous Acromantula and Quintaped (or Hairy MacBoons). As you know, Acromantulas and Quintapeds are really dangerous. They've been classificated by the Ministry of Magic as the XXXXX beasts, which means: Known wizard killer/ impossible to train or domesticate (Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them). Wizards of the Department for the Regulation of Magical Creatures are still researching on where did this creature came from, and who could possibly cross-breed (the two beasts would not cross-breed by themselves because they live on two different places). So please DO NOT enter the Hogsmead forest until further notifications from the Ministry of Magic.

Aurors Invention

Today, reports have been received that aurors are working on an entirely new spell thats contents can not be revealed. All the Daily Prophet know for certain is that it has a certain amount to do with Divination and Hipnotism. We here at the Daily Prophet think that it might bring Dark Wizards to the caster of the spell. They say it is also something about a book called The Book of Sacred and Difficult Enchantments. Which he-who-must-not-be-named destroyed all copies of 15 years ago. Except one which its wherabouts is unknown. Possibly in Gringotts, the ministry of magic or Hogwarts.

Gilderoy Lockhart Has Gone Mad!

Attention wizards and witches Gilderoy Lockhart has escaped form St. Mungo's Hospital for the Clinically Insane, he is on the loose and thinks he is a purple chicken. If you find imedaitely de-atomitize him with a complex shriking spell put him in a jar and call 1-777-CAUGHTGILL.

A Dragon Flying Over the Skies of Hogsmeade?

A group of thirty witches reported that a dragon has flow over Hogsmeade. The group has seen this dragon for three times. "It looks like a Norwegian Ridgeback with some desert sand under its wings," Sophia Greenwell, one of the witches, said. The dragon has been seen above the joke shop, howeverm nothing is a hundred percent sure. There are certain rumors about the dragon which is supposedly related to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry due to the fact that the son of Lucius Malfoy, Draco, saw in a mysterious cabin. We think that we will gather more information about this topic during the next year at Hogwarts.
Another Theory On Godric Gryffindor's Descendent

Harry Potter has dumbfounded us all, over his last four years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He has faced many obsticles and defeated them without breaking a sweat. It has come to mind that Harry Potter has many characterics of Godric Gryffindor. Reson to believe form an anyonoumous source that Harry Potter's wand shoots out red an gold sparks when casting a spell. These as we all know are Gryffindor's colors. Harry Potter has reson to believe that he has a small fourtune in Gringotts bank. This might be the fortune that Godric Gryffindor has stored away to the Heir of the Gryffindor's. There will be a follow-up to this article in Janurary.

Actions of the Revival of You-Know-Who

Many people already know that You-Know-Who has risen again. So how's it going in Hogwarts? Headmaster Dumbledore is going on quite clever ideas that will most likely work, with the help of Gryffindor student, Harry Potter. Though, however the Minister of Magic, Fudge, has locked himself in his home, putting a powerful locking charm, he invented himself. Nobosy has heard or Fudge for the past 2 months. So what's going to happen? Rubeus Hagrid, the Hogwarts gamekeeper and Care for Magical Creatures professor says "As long as we've got Dumbledore, I'm not too worried," And I quite agree with him.

New Book of Spells Coming

I have been informed that a young girl, Morgaine Dragona, has created a whole book of new spells! She was just out of her first year at Hogwarts and she just did it! That infact is how Morgaine put it!!! This spell book shall be open to the public in January. The spells include number dialing, table setting, and bed making!!! Let's go back to Hogwarts!

Arthem Prubihn - Merediem, the Young Author

I was doing a small Sunday shopping yesterday in Diagon Alley. I was searching for an interesting item to buy. Then I saw this huge poster about a new author named Arthem Prubihn - Merediem, and his first book: The Cauldron Soup for The Wizards' Soul, a Book of Wizardry Poems. "Interesting," I said to my self. So, I thought that it would be wonderful to buy the book, which I did. The poems in the book touched my heart. Sometimes I would cry, and sometimes I would laugh. Some famous wizard gave their best entries in the book, like: Prof. A. Dumbledore, Mr. Newton Scamander, R.J. Lupin, Prof. Lindsay Courts (Head of the Top Secret Department, MoM), and Viktor Krum. I suggests that wizards or witches should read one of the copies. You could visit the 18 years old author at Flourish and Blotts on the 30th December, or send him an owl. I guarantee that he will reply your letter as soon as possible!

Dementors On Look Out For Pettigrew

Azkaban prison's fearful Dementors are on the continuing search for traitor Peter Pettigrew. Recent reports indicate that he may of been hiding in the forest regions of Siberia, Russia. No confirmation, however, cannot be made at this time. For those of you, who need to refresh on some background info. on Pettigrew, he was the friend of the famous Harry Potter's father, James Potter. It was Pettigrew, with his deceit, that lead He Who Must Not Be Named to the location of Godric's Hollow— the home of the Potters. Return for updates later.

Muggles Found In Diagon Alley

Last week it was reported by the MoM that 3 muggles were found in Flourish and Blotts trying to smuggle books. The manager of the store caught them with a leg locker spell."I asked them what they were doing and they called me a crazy loon. One pulled out a silver thing that made strange noises. The Ministry was there right 'way." The muggles had their memory erased and were not harmed.
