HARRY POTTER: THE MOVIE
Yes, you heard right, there is going to be a Harry Potter movie!! It is to be a movie with real actors, not cartoon, and Warner Brothers is producing it. It will be based mainly on the first book. A British boy, maybe Jamie Bell, is going to play the star role of Harry, although no certain actor has been chosen. Other actors/actress rumored to be involved are Maggie Smtih (to play Professor McGonagal) and Tim Roth (to play Snape). Chris Columbus has been named the director. Past films he directed include HOME ALONE and MRS. DOUBTFIRE. Sounds like a good pick! Steven Speilburg was asked to direct, but he declined for unknown reasons.....perhaps a creative clash between him and J.K. Rowling? Who knows! Regardless it sounds like a movie to see! I'll keep you updated!
