| • Joe DeLeon is reporting that there is speculation that Bret Hart will face former WCW World Champ Goldberg in Toronto Canada thisupcoming Monday Night. Rumor has it that Bret will play off an injury for an excuse to once again take time off to have groinsurgery. • The word is that Hart may do an injury angle in the match for an excuse to take time off for groin surgery. Bret Hart's groin hasbeen hampering him the past few months. • The main event for WCW's Spring Stampede on April 4, in Tacoma, Washington, will perhaps be a six man tag match. Ric Flair,Diamond Dallas Page, and Booker vs. Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Dusty Rhodes. A pre-recorded interview that was shown on Nitro(3/22) with Dusty Rhodes, which was conducted by Mike Tenay, developed the angle. There's also word of a Goldberg vs. FlairHeavyweight Title main event. • Dave Scherer said today in his Daily Lariat that the angle where it seems that Arn Anderson is turning on Ric Flair may in factend up with Barry Windham rejoining the Horsemen. There has been a lot of speculation that Steve McMichael would be kicked out ofthe Horsemen and have his spot taken by another WCW wrestler. This would be the part where Anderson would bring in Windham to takehis spot. • There will be no Monday Nitro on Monday, May 10 because of NBA basketball on TNT. The reason being is that producers didn't wantto have an hour only Nitro. • Perry Saturn should be entering a feud with Vampiro very soon. Both Saturn and Vampiro have very similar "Marilyn Manson" type gimmicks so you knew it was only a matter of time. WCW announcers briefly hinted this during Vampiro's match against Prince Iaukea when Saturn came down during the match |
