Page was aired. Highlights were first shown of how DDP was put out of
action by Scott Steiner. DDP said Kimberly was doing fine. He said he
had a herniated disc as a result of the injury Steiner caused, which
would caused paralysis in his legs a few times. Tenay asked DDP about
the stipulation Scott Steiner tried to add in their Super Brawl match
where Steiner would get Kimberly for 30 days if he won. DDP said that
would never happen. DDP said he would be back soon and it would be a
different him. He also said he would gain revenge on Steiner.

wasn't real, but rather real interesting.

Ric Flair first gained heat by saying he didn't like being in Canada.
The crowd chanted, "Asshole." Flair introduced Diamond Dallas Page. DDP
said things had changed with Flair since he was out of action. Flair
said the only reason DDP came to Nitro was to get a match with Scott
Steiner. DDP surprisingly insulted the Canadian crowd. Flair announced
DDP would take on Hollywood Hogan later in the show. DDP said, "Why?
Because you don't have the jack to take him on yourself." Flair said
that wasn't it, but rather because he was President. Out came Hogan to
"Hogan" chants. Hogan said he would get to Flair later. Hogan said if he
had to beat DDP to get to the Heavyweight Title, he would do it. DDP
said it worked for him, since he was after Scott Steiner. Flair said he
would be DDP's manager. DDP didn't want him in his corner. A black and
white and white crow Sting was spotted at the top of the cieling. Flair
yelled at Sting to come down.

to take on Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko for Tag Team Titles. Kidman

accepted. Kidman said he just wanted them to remain friends after the

took over, finishing it off with the Missle Dropkick.

Chris Jericho got a huge pop as a Canadian. Jericho said he grew up in
Canada. When he mentioned the United States, the crowd booed. Out of
nowhere, Jericho said he was glad he moved to the U.S. because Canada
sucked. Jerry Flynn mainly dominated Jericho, but Jericho came out on
top after pinning Flynn using the ropes as leverage.
Bret Hart Interview.
The crowd went crazy over fellow Canadian, Bret Hart. The announcers
continued to note throughout the show that Hart claimed the previous
Monday on Nitro he could defeat Goldberg in five minutes. Hart said he
wasn't going to worry about anything tonight, including ratings. He
started to sing a short verse of the Canadian National Anthem. Hart
said, "Bischoff, put that up your pipe and smoke it." The crowd cheered
on Hart when he mentioned the names Flair and Hogan. He said he came to
WCW to prove he was still a great wrestler. Hart ripped on Goldberg, and
the crowd continued to be with Hart all the way. Hart mentioned that
Goldberg put up a ton of money to take on (Stone Cold) Steve Austin.
Hart said he beat Austin each time he wrestled him. Hart took off his
T-shirt and revealed a Toronto Maple Leafs shirt underneath. Goldberg
came out to a negative reaction, but then what seemed to be piped in
"Goldberg" chants. Goldberg speared Hart, to another negative reaction,
and both men just lay still. They didn't move. Hart was first to get up,
and pinned Goldberg himself (less than five minutes). Hart took off his
T-shirt and revealed an iron plate strapped around his chest. Hart got

Buff Bagwell came out to new "Buff Daddy" entrance music. He was no
longer sporting Wolfpac colors, but rather his own white trunks. Bagwell
got on the microphone and said he was no longer associated with Scott
Steiner. Bagwell said the crowd could choose who sides they wanted to be
on, but just to remember he liked them. Norman Smiley did an impression
of Bagwell in the middle of the match. After Smiley missed a dropkick,
Bagwell took the advantage, and finished the match off with the
Blockbuster.
Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Kidman defeated Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko, to
capture the Tag Team Titles.
Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Kidman worked excellent as a tag team, as they
executed many high-flying maneuvers on Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko.
Benoit later blew the muscus out of his nose onto Kidman. As Kidman and
Benoit battled on the outside of the ring, Malenko strapped Mysterio in
the Texas Clover Leaf on the inside. The referee was distracted, which
let Raven and Saturn enter the ring. Raven gave Malenko the Even-Flow
DDT. Mysterio then made the pin on Malenko for the win.
Hollywood Hogan defeated Diamond Dallas Page (w/Ric Flair) with the Leg
Drop.
Hollywood Hogan called out to the fans with his ears in the beginning.
When returning to a commercial break, Hogan and Diamond Dallas Page
ended up taking it all the way back to the announcer's table. Hogan
rammed DDP into the steel WCW logos, knocking one down. The crowd
chanted "Hogan" throughout the match. Back in the ring, Hogan slapped
away on DDP with his belt. DDP started to use the belt, which let Ric
Flair get some cheapshots on Hogan, but DDP didn;t want the help, as he
knocked out Flair. Flair remained at ringside as DDP and Hogan battled
in the ring. The referee was smashed in the corner and Charles Robinson
was the replacement. Flair entered the ring and meant to hit Hogan with
a chair, but instead hit DDP. Robinson didn't call anything. Hogan
knocked Flair out of the ring. Hogan nailed the Leg Drop on DDP, but
Robinson wouldn't count the pin. Referee, Mickey Jay, recovered and made
the pin. Hogan could now lay claim of getting a Heavyweight Title shot
against Flair. DDP wouldn't get his match with Scott Steiner.
