How much do you really know about mario? Have a Mario fact? Email it to me. 1. Mario was originally called "jumpman" in Donkey Kong. 2. His first job was a carpenter, not a plumber. 3. Myimoto described him as a "funny hang-loose kind of guy." 4. His first love was Pauline, not Princess Toadstool. 5. He lived in Brooklyn before moving to the Mushroom Kingdom. 6. He got his name from the president of Nintendo, Minoru Arakawa's, landlord(who looked like him.) The landlord's name was Mario Segali. 7. He wears a mustache and a cap, so the designers want have to draw mouth expressions or design his hair(they finally did in Mario 64 though.) |
