Ep. 2989

Gypsy’s been a bit lonely. She wanted to
do Sally shift at the DIC, even though she
had practically been doing them all week.
Leah said that they just have to try be friends
with her. However Sally thinks Gypsy’s
trying to re-establish her friendship with Will.

Leah showed Colleen, Shauna and Sally a
video of her when she was ten. It was an
educational experience – Leah was a flower
girl at a traditional Greek wedding. Vinnie
got a peek at the video and he’s not thrilled
about Leah’s Uncle Con shaving him with
a cut-throat razor before the wedding.
Obviously he’s worried about nicks and
scratches!

Noah’s been giving Shauna a hard time
and is doing everything to make her feel
unwelcome. Jude isn‘ t happy about it and
has given Noah an earful about it.

Hayley, bought herself a car. She was paid
quite a bit for the illustrations from Fishers
book and was going to go on a shopping
spree with Gypsy. Noah got annoyed at her
attitude and suggested she put it towards Uni.
However, she saw this car and decided to buy it.

Ep. 2988

Shelley’s been trying to work out what’s
going on with Woody. She thinks his
problem’s psychological and stems from
his family background – she heard Woody’s
dad call him a ‘nutcase’ during the siege
negotiations. Shelley went to seek Woody‘s
mother - as she had heard that Woody was
quite protective of her - out for some
answers to Woody's behaviour, however
Woody's mum was in another world. As
soon as Woody's dad came home, he
ordered Shelley out. Shelley's tried telling
Mr Carter (the police officer involved) about
Woody's circumstances, but he wouldn't listen.

Mitch left for New Zealand. Brodie’s shattered,
worried he won’t come back. Hopefully for
Brodies sake he will.

Duncan and Alf had a blue today. Alf went to
talk to him about his reasons for selling the
Diner, and told Duncan to stop acting like a
child. So Duncan told Alf how he’s been feeling
since Ailsa’s death. When Alf told him he feels
guilty about her death, Duncan told him not to
be so stupid, and told Alf he thought he hated
him.

Shauna has resigned from the Surf Club. Jude
told her she should let her atheltic ablity go to
waste, so Shauna is thinking for taking up PE
teaching at the school.

Ep. 2987

Sally is getting upset because Brett keeps
beating himself up over the hostage scene.
She told him it was ok, but he still feels
guilty. The event sparked off her OCD.
At least this time Sally realises the problem
and it willing to do something about it.

Alf’s worried about Duncan, but he still
won’t go and see him. Fisher’s tried to tell
him to let it all go, but something keeps him
back. He’s got to tell Duncan how he feels
soon, or he’s going to lose Duncan.

The siege has uncovered memories for Gypsy.
Dani was talking to her, she even offered
Will to drive Gypsy to the DIC. It didn’t last
long, though. She dropped by after Will hadn’t
turned up. Apparently one of the boys at the
centre was getting a bit rough, so Will came to
Gypsy’s aid.

Mitch is going to New Zealand in a couple of
days to meet his family, as his grandma is ill.
Brodie’s upset, but says it’ll be good for him
to get away for a bit. On top of this, she’s still
trying to get over all the Woody business.
Even though he was so awful, Brodie’s still
sticking up for him. She even had a go at
Shelley after she refused to help him. It gave
Shelley something to think about. I wonder
if she’ll help him now.

Rhys has lifted the ban on Nick and Kirsty,
much to the excitement of Nick and Kirsty.

Ep. 2986

Woody came into the classroom and
started yelling at everyone to shut up
and sit down. Sally was in the classroom
along with Dani and Brodie. He had a bag
that he waved around in a threatening
manner. Brett told Fisher what was going
on, so they evacuated the school. The
police outside ordering Woody out, but
he wouldn’t listen.

Sally tried talking to him, but only be told
to ‘shut up’. Sally was worried he was going
to do something stupid. He really started
freaking out when a girl started crying. Brodie
went to comfort her, but Woody screamed at
her to stay where she was. Bu then her let the
girl go because his dad was outside. Dani
made a run for it and escaped. So Brodie asked
Woody to let everyone go so they could talk
alone. So Woody ordered them out one by one.
He wanted Sallly to go, but there was no way
she was going to. Everyone was so relieved
when it was all over.

Ep. 2985

Sally has broken up with Brett. He told
her she was being selfish and treated him
like a villain. He also gave her an ultimatum
– an open relationship or nothing at all.
Sally was however pleased to hear that
he was loosening up on students.

Rhys is still refusing to let Kirsty see
Nick. Nick has tried many times to talk
to Rhys, but he still refused to budge.
Shelley then commented wryly that Rhys is
forcing Nick and Kirsty to see each other
because of his rules. It’s given him
something to think about.

It turns out the man who approached
Mitch at the talent night was Morrie
Saunders, Mitch’s uncle from New Zealand.
He was telling Mitch about a family he
never knew he had. His ‘grandmother’ is
sick and wants to meet Mitch. There’s
also an inheritance for Mitch when his
grandmother passes away. Mitch is very
confused about what to do. So is Brodie.
She’s worried he’s going to take off
and never come back.

Brodie’s freaking out about Woody. He
has this book of names, where he writes
down the names of people who have
wronged him. Woody wasn’t very happy
when Fisher approached him about it and
yelled at Brodie. Brodie was quite scared.

Later on her confronted, Mitch in the
hallway and told it was his lucky day
for being late, Mitch didn‘ t know what
to think until, Woody walking into his
classroom and held them all hostage.
Dani and Brodie are in the room, what
will Woody do just to get attention?

Ep. 2984

The talent night was a huge
success especially Dani, everyone
was very surprised by her performance.
Mitch won the whole thing with his
version of a Paul Kelly song.
Woody did a poetry recital, which
was quite funny, to the audience
but certainly not too him.

Mitch was approached by a man who
told him he sang like his mother.
It was the same man who has been
asking questions about him to Colleen,
and who gave him that big donation
for the DIC.

Gypsy told Hayley about her feelings
for Shelley. Hayley was surprised,
then asked if that meant Gypsy was
attracted to everyone. Gypsy was
offended, but she still helped
Hayley out. Hayley told Gypsy about
Noah, and Gypsy went to see Jude
about it. So Jude confronted Noah
and told him to let go of the past.
However Jude didn’t realize their
mother’s religious fanaticism got
after he left. But finally to
Hayley‘ s relief Noah went and
explained to Hayley why he flipped
over her interest in religion.

Fisher’s worried Sally‘ s
involvement with Brett will drag his
teaching career down, especially
after the way he went off at the
student yesterday. Sally has let
her opinion very clear to Brett

Ep. 2983

Sally thought it would be fun
to have lunch with Brett . . . in
one of the classrooms. Fisher saw
them and wasn’t impressed. He’s
worried that Sally getting involved
with Brett too soon after Luke.
He is also concerned about other
students seeing them and the sort
of influence they are having on them.
However Sally is having her doubts
about Brett after the way she saw
him treat one of the students. One
of the students played a joke and
said ‘I love you, Ms Fletcher’
over the PA. Brett was fuming.

Jude’s advised Shauna to lighten up
on Duncan. So they took hiim down
to the beach at lunch time ofr a bit
of fun. He was as happy as a clam
when he came home. He’s also been
behaving, which is a blessing for
the girls.

Sally went to Fisher and told him
how Alf’s been acting around Leah and
Colleen. He went to the diner to do
some work, but it seems Leah had
already done it. He went off at her
after she said she was a co-owner.
Colleen jumped in and said he should
be thanking Leah since he’s never
there.

Hayley had a go at Noah. She had had
enough of his remarks about Cynthia
and decided to confront him about
what his problem was. She asked what
happened to his belief in freedom of
speech and thought. It didn‘ t seem
to help, Hayley still doesn‘ t
understand. Then he decided to give
Fisher a hard time during a lesson about
World War II. So Fisher told Noah to
write a 2000-word essay on the issue.

Ep. 2982

Duncan’s terrified of Alf.
Vinnie told Alf about Duncan’s
recent behaviour. The girls didn‘t
want didn’t want Vinnie to say
anything, but he did anyways. Alf
was disappointed and said he’d
cancel his trip. Then he confronted
Duncan and completely lost it.
Duncan basically ran for his life.
He ended up at the caravan park,
Shauna was very worried about him,
she told him he could stay with
her as long as he behaves.

Gypsy, Mitch and Noah are worried
about raising funds for the Drop
in Centre, because the talent night
is only going to raise half of the
funds needed, so Mitch went busking
and Hayley went with him. They met
a girl called Cynthia who was
interested in the DIC. She checked
it out with them and started talking
about religion. Mitch and Hayley
were interested in what she had to
say. Gypsy and Noah weren’t as
impressed. Noah said something about
preaching somewhere else, so Cynthia
left. Hayley went after her to
explain understand why he is so
defensive about it all.

While Mitch was busking, an American
tourist asked Mitch to pose for a
photo in return for a $20 donation.
Mitch did and didn’t think anything
of it. Also Colleen asked him for his
mother’s maiden name was because a
man was asking about Mitch. Mitch
isn‘ t sure what to think.
Who is this strange person looking for Mitch?

Ep. 2981

Everyone is talking about Gypsy’s kiss
with Desiree. In particular Colleen,
who as we all know isn’t afraid to say
what she thinks. Colleen made a comment
to Gypsy about the Mardi Gras. Gypsy
smiled and told Colleen to ‘pucker up
and give her a kiss’. Colleen wasn’t
impressed.

Gypsy is feeling betrayed by Shelley
after she found out that Rhys knows about
her feelings for Shelley. Shelley tried
telling Gypsy not to treat men like the
enemy it didn’t seem to work. Gypsy was
talking Will on the beach, and it was
almost as if she still has feeling for
him. I don’t think that Gypsy really
knows what she wants at the moment.

However, Will is very sure of what he
wants, and it’s not Gypsy. He was
absolutely shocked by Gypsy’s revelation.
He told Dani it threw him for a while
and made him wonder if his relationship
was Gypsy was ever real. Dani was too
worried by it, she told Brodie she
felt a bit insecure.

It seems that a few people in Summer
Bay could be without jobs very soon.
Colleen has found out about Vinnie and
Leah become half owners of the diner.
And doesn’t particular like the idea of
working for them. And Will found out
from Irene about Alf’s trip to visit
Roo. Which would leave him without a
job for over a month. Will was alrready
unhappy with Alf, because he had
basically had no job for the past
month either. So Will confronted Alf,
who promised him a job when he returned.
Will started looking fo

Duncan isn’t happy about Vinnie and
Leah owning half the diner. To him, it
should have been handed to him and
Shauna. However Vinnie and Leah were
going to include him in the wedding
plans, to soften the blow a bit. But
Duncan didn’t take it very well.

There is a talent night coming up
in Summer Bay. Brodie’s excited, but
Dani isn’t, because of her past
singing days. Irene, is sort of
organsing the event, and convinced
Dani this, if it is really her dream
to sing, then she should give it a go.
Shelley’s advised Brodie not to get
too involved with Woody, but Brodie’s
is starting to get scared of him.
She mentioned to Shelley about the
little black book that he carries
around, which he apparently he
writes down people’s names in. Brodie
doesn’t seem keen on getting her name
in the book.
