Ep. 2972

It seems Fisher is doing his best to make
Sally’s life uncomfortable without even
knowing it. He asked her to show Brett around.
So Brett took Sally to the theatre, afterwards
Sally suggested he come back for coffee. Leah
was home and she was saying how much they
looked like they were coming in from a date. So
Sally got nervous about it and told him they
ran out of coffee and literally pushed him out
of the house!

Duncan and Mitch have almost had it with Alf.
Mitch was saying Alf went off at him after seeing
a bill from one of the suppliers he used for the
diner. It didn’t help when Duncan had a go at Mitch.
No wonder he’s moving in with Vinnie and Gypsy.

Anyway, Duncan found out about Mitch’s decision and
told Alf, who then went to Mitch for an explanation.
All Mitch could say was he’d help out in the diner.
Duncan, doesn’t know what to do, especially after Alf
yelled at him for ‘mucking around’ after he had been
cleaning the surf club! He can’t win. Fisher, has been
trying to talk some sense into Alf.

Irene didn’t have any luck with the police after she
reported the vandalism that she’s been experiencing.
Hayley is wondering why the police aren’t doing anything,
but Alf suggested it’s because Detective Carter owns
number 17 in the block and is possibly wanting to sell
it for some big bucks.

Irene went off at Will after he accepted $300 from
Dennis Scott as a payment for the slashed tyres. Irene
thinks it’s blood money, while Will can’t understand why
it was wrong to take the cash. Irene is sticking to her
guns and is trying not worry about any of Dennis’ threats.

At least Vinnie and Leah have worked things out after a
couple of disagreements with each other and their parents.
To cut a long and confusing story short, Vinnie declared
his love for Leah after his mum told him he should be
dating someone like Libby Marcs – a girl with his type
of ‘class’. Theo also said something similar to Leah
about Vinnie, saying he was too proud. Anyway, Theo
apologised to Vinnie and admitted he handled things badly,
adding Vinnie shouldn’t let his ego stand in the way of
his hap

Ep. 2971

Gypsy is one complicated person. It looks
serious, but Shelley seems to be taking
things very lightly.

Jade been going around school in a daze,
its her turn at the Dice Man game and she
has to steal something from the mall in
Yabbie Creek.

Irene has been experiencing more problems
due to her refusal to sell the house. She
received a letter from her neighbours
pressuring her to sell. Will came home asking
where the letterbox had gone. Both Will and
Irene are on the defensive and barely able to
keep their tempers under control. Hayley
helped Irene draft a letter, while Noah is
tossing all sorts of theories around. Then
after handing out the letters, Irene bumped
into a couple of her neighbours and let them
have it. They tell her they had nothing to do
with it.

Since Vinnie called off the wedding he has been
saying he’s not going to feel like a no-hoper.
Leah tried everything to talk Vinnie around, but
he isn’t listening. She told me she’s now thinking
Vinnie called it off to get out of marrying her.
Stella doesn’t think Leah is good enough for Vinnie,
and Theo feels the same way about Vinnie. Leah
overheard this and became so mad she yelled at the
two of them to stop being hostile, especially since
they’ve both ruined her life.

Ep. 2970
Vinnie shocked everyone by cancelling
the wedding! Stella confronted Leah and
told her it was a mistake for her to
marry Vinnie simply because he’s not
ready for the responsibility. Leah said
she knew what he was like and was willing
to risk it. Theo bought a half share
of the diner as a ‘dowry’ and told him
it’s so he’ll know Leah’s future is secure.
Theo also told him he can’t wait forever
for Vinnie to get his act together. It was
this that prompted Vinnie to call it off.

Mitch has asked Vinnie to move in with
him and Gypsy. Brett really being picked
on by the students. As part of the Dice
Man game that Jade, Kirsty, Nick and
Duncan have been playing. Duncan called
Brett a fascist. Brett threw him out of
told, Brett about Ailsa, so Brett let him off.

Harry and June left. Shauna walked to the
wharf at the very last minute to say goodbye,
but missed him as his seaplane flew away.
Harry and Shauna were able to reconcile,
however Harry still wasn’t able to make up
with Gypsy.

Harry went to speak to Gypsy before he left,
but he caught her at a bad time. Gypsy told
him the experience had taught her to never
trust guys because they end up dumping you
in the end. She also said she won’t ever
forgive him. Could it be that Colleen’s
right and Gypsy has a crush on Rhys? But she
does want to quit the drop in centre, because
she feels uncomfortable working with Shelley.
But it isn't Rhys she has a crush on. Gypsy
tells Shelly to her face that she is in love
with her and not Rhys!!!

with her instead of going on the train. She tells him
she would rather to go by train.

him to go off to school and she’ll do it. He is
leaving when he hears Alf tell June that Mitch is
not real family unlike Duncan. Mitch is very
upset and arrives at school late. Brett gives him
out to him for being late.

Harry is packing up his stuff, ready to leave.

Alf goes fishing. June tells Colleen that’s Alf’s
way of coping with things. Harry is talking to Alf.
Alf throws his fishing gear into the water saying
what good are they now. Harry later retrieves them
and gives them to June in the diner to put away
safely.

Hayley finds Mitch crying in the class room. She
thinks it’s over being late.

Brett and Sally have lunch together in the diner.

Brodie thinks Mitch wants to break up with her but
hasn’t the guts to tell her. Hayley comes round and
tells Brodie that Mitch was crying. Brodie says how
selfish herself is by only thinking about herself and
not about Mitch.

Ep. 2965

Vinnie proposed to Leah! Thanks to Ted,
who confronted Vinnie to ask why he hadn’t
proposed to Leah as he’d promised. Vinnie
went to Leah and told her about him not
being able to have kids. But Leah wasn’t
very happy about they way he said it. She
told him that if he thought she wouldn’t
marry him of a health problem, he can’t do
anything about, she didn’t want to marry
him at all. She told Ted about the situation,
who told her if she really loved Vinnie she
wouldn’t torment him the way she did.

June told Harry to get over Shauna. Harry
thinks she’s interfering in his life with her
offer for him to move, while she says he’s
being childish by refusing.

Jude has been really sweet around Shauna,
it seems he really knows how to handle her.
He brought her flowers, which made her
feel a bit better. The later on, Harry saw her
on the beach just after Jude gave her the
flowers, next thing Vinnie came rushing in
asking for Harry.

Alf has been ignoring Duncan and Mitch,
and he doesn’t appear to be interested in
anything. He’s forgotten the boys need stuff
for school, and the diner is also left to run
itself, or by Mitch, who doesn’t seem to be
able to do anything to please Alf. Irene tried
offering some help, but Alf doesn’t want bar
of it and told her to mind her own business.
June stepped in and got Alf upstairs. When
she came back down she tried explaining
things to Irene, but Irene wasn’t too impressed.

Ep. 2964

Will explains to Rhys why he is in the house
naked at this hour of the night. Noah is caught
too.

Sandy tells Fisher that Sam has been really
good to her. Don tries to discourage her from
moving in with Sam.

Dani, Will, Brodie and Noah all get a lecture
about the dice game. They are told not to play
it again or they will be in serious trouble.

Leah complains to Irene about Vinnie not
proposing to her. Irene tells her he’s probably
building up to it.

One of Irene’s neighbours, George confronts
her about selling her house. He says they
won’t buy their houses unless everyone
agrees to sell. He asks her to reconsider
her offer.

Ted is moving back to the city. Colleen is
disappointed. He tells her he’ll try to tell Leah
about how he feels for her before he goes but
he says he’s not so sure if she feels the same.

Sam awakes next morning to discover that
Sandy has left. He blames Fisher and goes
off to find her.

Vinnie talks to Don in the diner. He wants
his opinion on what he should do. Don tells
him that he should tell Leah the truth about
his cancer before he proposes.

Irene finds out about what Will was up to.
She’s not very happy.

Sam comes looking for Sandy at the drop-in
centre but Shelly tells him that she’s not there
but unknown to Sam she actually is staying there.

Don visits Saandy later. He tells her that he was
a bit harsh with his words last night and tells her
to contact Sam.

Brodie, Noah, Hayley, Will and Dani decide to
play the dice game again despite the warnings
they got. Brodie takes her turn. She has to stand
on a table in the diner for two minutes. She does
it but Rhys and Shelly catch her. They are given
a stern warning and they promise never to play
it again.

Sam and Sandy kiss and make-up. They decide
to move to the Yabee Creak with one of Sam’s
friends. Don gives them some money and wishes
them luck and he tells them he will always be
there if they need him.

Gypsy starts talking to Rhys (Is Gypsy after him?).
Colleen sees them. She tells Shelly that they were
flirting but she doesn’t believe word of it.

Ted visits Leah. She tells him she’s worried Vinnie
has gone off her and won’t propose. She cries into
Ted’s arms.

Ep. 2963

Sally is confused about her
feelings for Luke. She thinks she loves
him, but she’s still very confused.
Shauna’s getting more suspicious about
her father’s identity. She went over to
Alf’s to help him clean out Ailsa’s
belongings. While they were reminiscing,
Shauna asked questions about her father.
Alf did his best to be elusive but it
didn’t work. She knows Ailsa became
pregnant while in prison, so when she
asked Alf, he blew up at her and said
all this digging around is being
insensitive to Ailsa.
Gypsy is still annoying the
Sutherland household. Nick asked Kirsty
to visit him after dinner, and when she
asked if it was OK, Gypsy intervened.
The girls aren’t happy about Gypsy’s
presence. Brodie thinks it’s because
Gypsy’s lonely. Rhys and the girls aren’t
happy, but Shelley doesn’t mind. She was
a bit upset they didn’t invite her to
dinner. She feels left out.
In among the trouble, the Sutherlands
have had an unwanted ‘surprise’, thanks
to Noah and Will. Noah bought a book called
The Dice Man. It’s a game that involves a
dice and lots of dares. It explains Dani’s
lack of communication, Noah’s ‘flathead’
jokes to Fisher, and (get this) Will being
seen running through the Sutherland house
naked! It would have been a success if Rhys
hadn’t found him in the pantry.
Unfortunately Noah’s jokes aren’t distracting
Fisher, who’s worried about Sam’s decision
to move in with Sandy. June thinks it’s a
great way for Sam to get back on the straight
and narrow, and Sam seems determined to make
it work. However, Sandy isn’t too sure and is
often reluctant to leave Bella with him.
She’s worried he’ll prove to be as unreliable
as Will said.
Fisher told him that bringing up a baby was
a lot of work, but Sam says he won’t dump
Bella the way he was dumped as a child. He
told Sandy if she’s ever unhappy he would
leave. He said he won’t pressure her into
anything like Warren did. He seems to be
serious about it and also appears to care for
Sandy. But how can you trust someone who says
love isn’t a guarantee of a relationship’s
success?

Ep. 2962

Shauna has late visit from Harry. He wanted to let her
know ‘he’s there if she needs anything’. Shauna is
beginning to think she‘ s been a bit to hard on him. Sally
told Shauna about Harry kiss. Shauna was not impressed,
and told Sally she would have a word with him. Sally is
now sorry she told her.

June is trying to convince Harry to move to Queensland
with her. She knows business is bad for him in Summer
Bay, plus he isn’t the most popular person in the Bay at
the moment.

Alf needs a change because he’s going downhill fast. He
hasn’t cancelled any of his fishing charter bookings. He
forgot one and the clients weren’t happy. Plus Mitch has
been left to run the diner. He’s doing a great job, thanks to
some help from June, but Colleen isn’t very happy about
June stepping in. Anyway, Mitch is so busy with the diner
that he’s had to cancel dates with Brodie. She’s upset, but
she knows it can’t be helped.

Shauna visited Alf and told him he’s got to start looking
after himself because of Duncan and Mitch. Just as Shauna
was leaving Alf mentioned something about a prison
guard. Shauna thinks it has something to do with her father,
and is going to do everyhting in her power to find out who
he really is.

Gypsy has been spending so much time with the Sutherlands.
Now that Kirsty is training for triathlons, Kirsty doesn’t
like the stress of Gypsy always hanging around.

Colleen saw Gypsy was getting cosy with Rhys while Kirsty
was training. Colleen seems to think that Gypsy has a crush
on Rhys. Is Colleen right?
