WWF Tag-Team titles
X-Pac & Road Dogg vs Edge and Chritian
The Match starts with X-pac and Edge. Then after a couple of minutes X-Pac tags Road Dogg. The match kept going back and forward. In the middle of the match Road Dogg and Christian were both down and they were both trying to make their tags then Edge jumps from the top rope on Road Dogg. Then it was still Road Dogg and Christian but Road Dogg manages to tag X-Pac and then all 4 men were fighting. Then Edge and X-Pac were in the ring and the referee was on the outside arguing with Christian, Road Dogg and Torri, back in the ring X-Pac does the X-Factor waits for the pin but the referee is distracted then Christian jumps in the ring and hits X-Pac with the Bell for the win.

Winners: Still Tag-Team Champions, Edge and Christian

Light Heavyweight Title
Dean Malenko vs Scotty Too Hotty

This was a not bad match. During the match Malenko drop kicked Scotty on his knee, and from there he kept hitting his knee. Then he drags Scotty to the ring post and he kept hitting Scotty's knee. Everytime Scotty tried to take control Malenko kept hitting him on the knee to keep him down. Malenko was going for the powerbomb but Scotty flipped backwards and hit him and then he did The Worm. At the end Scotty Too Hotty was going for a superplex and in mid air Malenko reversed it into a DDT and got the win.

Winner: Still Light Heavyweight champion, Dean Malenko

Bossman & Bull Buchanan vs The Acolytes

The match started with Bradshaw and Bull. Bradshaw was doing all kinds of moves, DDT....then Bradshaw went on the top rope and shoulder blocked him. After a while Bossman & Bull were doing quick tags and beating on Farooq, the Farooq manages to make the tag but the referee did not see it, so Bossman and Bull kept making tags and repeditly hitting on Farooq. At the end it was Bradshaw and Bull fighting in the ring and the 2 other men on the outside then Bossman climbs on the ring and hits Bradshaw with the stick and then Bull Buchanan did a scisors kick on him fir the win.

Winners: Bossman & Buchanan

Hardcore Title Match
The wrestlers competing were Crash Holly, Tazz, Hardy Boys, Hardcore Holly & Saturn

This was a pretty good match. In thi match there was chair shots, 2 by 4, garbage cans, and other objects. Everyone was beating on each other. Everytime someone tries to pin one another, the count was always broken, there were so many pinfalls but at the count of 2 either the wrestler kicks out or someone breaks the count. At the end all the wrestlers were fighting on the outside except Crash and Tazz who were both laying down in the ring and beaten up all Crash had to do was cover Tazz and he did and got the win. For some reason after Crash won the Hardy Boys' song played.

Winner: Still Hardcore Champion, Crash Holly

Kurt Angle vs The Big show

The entrance was hilarious. Big Show came out under Hogan's old WWF Music and he was dressed like Hogan. and He came and started to do like Hogan does in the ring, he rips his shirt, flexes....Then Big Show takes the Mic and talks like Hogan and then he says "Watcha gonna do when the showster runs wild on you!" The match was pretty quick and Big Show dominated the match, at the end he does the chokeslam for the win.

Winner: Big Show

Dudley Boys vs T & A (w/Trish)

The match started with Devon and Prince Albert and on the outside Buh Buh ray was chasing Trish and then Test out of no where clothelines Buh Buh Ray. During the match T & A were beating on Devon, they kept exchanging tags and beating on him to keep him away from the tag. Then Devon makes the tag but Albert had the referee distracted so the tag did not count. Then Albert was on the ropes and then Buh Buh Ray was talking to him to distract him and Devon then hit Albert and suplexed him from the rope which allowed The Dudleys to take control of the match and for Devon to do the tag. The Dudleys did the 3D but Test kicked out. Then The Dudleys were going to go for the 3D but Trish distracyed Buh Buh Ray and he urns around and Test kicks him in the face for the win. Then after the match they attack T & A and the Buh Buh Ray puts Trish threw a table.

Winners: Dudley Boys

Europeen Title
Eddie Guerrero (w/Chyna) vs Essa Rios (w/Lita)

Guerrero & Chyna came down with their car down to rinkside. Guerrero and Chyna were dressed in their prom dresses and then Guerrero gets out and take sof his shirt and put his wrestling gear on at rinkiside but he stays with his toxedo pants.
The match starts with Guererro drop kicking Essa and taking control of the match but not for long then Essa Rios does a back breaker, then after Eddie hits Essa and takes control. As you see this match kept going back and forward. During the match Guerrero had Essa positionned into a powerbomb on the outside and Lita was on the top rope about to jump but Chyna tripped her. Back in the ring Essa was on the top rope but Chyna tripped him and the Guerrero did a superplex. At the end Guerrero did somekind of spinning neck breaker (forgot the name) and he got the win. After the match Essa Dropped kicked both Chyna and Eddie and then Lita strips Chyna of her Evening Gown dress and ran.

Winner: Still Europeen Champion, Eddie Guerrero

Before the match, Michael Cole interviewed HHH and Stephanie backstage and they talked about Austin not arriving to the building yet then Vince McMahon joins the interview and says that his sources tell him that Austin is having Transportation problems and that Austin might not be able to make it to Backlash tonight.

Intercontinental Title
Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho

This match was a good match, a lot of technical moves were used by 2 great technicians.
The match started with both men exchanging hits..then after that they kept repeditly exchanging slaps to the chests. During the match Benoit had an abdominal strech on Jericho then Jericho hits Benoit and then Jericho goes to the ropes and nails him with his elbow. Then Jericho does the Lionsault and both men were down, then Jericho goes for the cover but Benoit kicks out. After Jericho does a powerbomb on Benoit, then picks him up and does it again then Jericho goes for the pin but Benoit pushes him and does the Crippler's Crossface, after a while Benoit decides to try to pin him but Jericho reverses it and does the Walls of Jericho but Benoit grabs the ropes. Then Jericho was about to jump on Benoit but Benoit ducks and Jericho lands on the referee, then Benoit grabs the IC belt and nails Jericho, 1,2 but Jericho kicks out. Then Jericho was laying down and Benoit went for the Diving Headbutt but Jericho grabs the belt and held it up in the air and Benoit's face hits the belt and the referee calls for the bell and disqualafies Jericho. Then after the match, Chris Jericho puts the Wall of Jericho on referee Tim White.

Winner: Still Intercontinental Champion, Chris Benoit

WWF Title Match
HHH vs The Rock

First, WWf Ring Announcer Lilian Garcia introduced the special guest referee Shane McMahon.
Then out came the challenger HHH accompagnied by Stephanie and Vince McMahon.
Once in the ring, Vince McMahon grabbed the microphone and said that if the fans look in their card program magazine it says "Card Subject to change" and then Vince said therefore Austin will not be here tonight. Then The Rock's music hits.
The match starts with both men exchanging fists, then HHH knees The Rock in the stomach area, then they go in the corner and they start to exchange fists again. Then early in the match HHH tries to pedigree The Rock but The Rock back body drops HHH. HHH Threw The Rock on the outside and then Vince took the Rock and threw him to the steel post and he grabbed him and sent him back in the ring. In the middle of the match Shane was seeing if HHH was ok in the corner and The Rock was getting up and when he did, Vince nailed him with the belt. Then The Rock gets up and starts to beat on HHH and then he throws him to the outside and Rock goes after him and beats on him a little more then Rock brings him back in the ring and the Rock does a DDT but Shane would not count to 3 then The Rock nails Shane and HHH gets up and nails the Rock. HHH brings the Rock on the outside and puts him on the spanish anouncing table attempting to pedigree the Rock but the Rock low blows HHH and then Rock picks up HHH on the table and then Shane was standing on the table too and he grabs Shane too and he ROCK BOTTOMS both of them threw the table at the same time. After Rock and HHH are in the ring and Vince comes and attacks the Rock but The Rock was going after him but HHH low blows the Rock and pedigrees the Rock and goes for the cover but there is no referee to count then Vince calls out Patterson and Brisco, 1,2 but Rock kicks out. Then all 4 men kept beating on The Rock, the HHH picks the Rock up and holds him and Vince hits The Rock with a chair. Then HHH was going to go for the pedigree but THE GLASS BREAKS and here comes Austin with a chair and he hits all of them one by one except the Rock, the Linda comes out with Earl Hebner, then the Rock hits the People's Elbow and Linda tells Earl to make the count and 1,2,3 NEW CHAMPION!!! While The Rock was celebrating, Austin's Music hits and Austin is driving his truck and dragging with him the DX Express Bus all blown up. Austin grabs a beer and hands it to The Rock and they both drink beer as the show ends.

Winner: New WWF Champion, The Rock
