In the land of the unknown
Behind the castle and the moat,
Just beyond the sycamore trees
There is a place where all is free.
Where fairies live with pointed ears.
Eyes of blue, hair of gold
Often standing on their tippy toes.
Flying from flower to flower
They sprinkle them with magic powder.
Not all humans are able to see,
Only those who believe.
The children from the castle,
Cross the moat with no hassle.
Filled with hope to see
The fairies that are said to be.
Hiding in the old oak tree
Fairies are afraid to be seen.
The children call out with laughter and rhyme:
" Fairies, Fairies up in the sky.
Come out, come out it's your turn to shine."
With there wing's fluttering,
Glowing with light
The children are delighted by this site.
Chasing them through the flowers that bloom,
Taking away all their sadness and gloom.
Just before the sun starts to set,
The children know,
Know time is left.
Pulling out their magical wands
They bless them to keep from harm.
Saying goodnight the children say
with laughter and rhyme:
" Fairies, fairies, up in the sky.
Till we meet again it's our turn
to say goodnight."
In the land of the unknown,
Behind the castle and the moat,
Just beyond the sycamore trees.
There is a place for all who believe
