This is where I will post Anti-Pokemon links. At first, it won't be very big, but there will soon be more Anti-Pokemon lnks as I find them. NOTE: All links open up in a separate window.
The DMOZ Anti-Pokemon Directory!
--You read right. A DMOZ directory dedicated to AP! The legendary Jonnyboy was a DMOZ editor and created the directory during his time! He has since resigned and I registered to become the editor of the directory. In case you don't know, the DMOZ stands for the Open Directory Project. It's not a search engine; it's a directory. Go submit your AP website if you have one! And search for more A-P sites through this directory.
Google Anti-Pokemon site directory
--Several sites that are on this page are here because of this Google directory. Over 20 Anti-Pokemon sites reside here, making it a heaven for Anti-Pokemon webmasters and fans alike! Sites are ranked by the amount of hits that it gets through the directory; I'm near the top. Hee hee.
Excite Anti-Pokemon directory
--Similar to Google and the DMOZ directories, but has different sites and in a different format. I would recommend using this to comb other sites that the DMOZ and Google directories don't have.
The Net Nomad's Anti-Pokemon Website!
--The best and first AP site I saw. There's a guestbook, a forum, a vote caster, games (made by himself!), and two Anti-Pokemon stories there, Invasion of the Pokemon and Super Smash Brothers. There's also Pokemon hater humor and real reasons for disliking Pokemon. It gets an average of fifteen to twenty hits a day and has over 14,000 hits!
The Antipokemon Nework
--This is the same link I took off in Feburary 2002. Friends with JPW. It's a nice website with frames (although those could be annoying when click on links from his site to another site. Well anyway, he has a chat room, two forums, a SiteRing, and other sites--what are you waiting for! Click the link!
M.A.I.M Anti-Pokemon
--New site launched recently, I think it has potential. There's different info than on other AP sites, more opinions, and a lot of interactive stuff. Navigation is a little tough, because of the font and there are invisible tables (there aren't any lines to indicate). Still, you should check it out.
The Poke-Apocalypse Version 3.0
--A big name website that's created by a Flash creator, Liam B. Get the picture? You don't? Well, this is a really cool Flash Anti-Pokemon website, with a nice Flash introduction and a planned "Pokemon: The Next Generation" Flash. Go visit it! Oh and if you click on the link above you'll be sent directly to the main site, skipping the intro. Helps if you have a dial-up.
Pokemon Hammer 40,000
--The slogan: The ultimate AP site, and it lives up to its claims. A neat layout, long story, and more. Plus it has an AP army, has the awards that is given out to good AP sites, like http://jpw-ap.cjb.net. I have won an award from that site AND have joined the army.
Project AP Chat!
--Created by the owner of Pokemon Hammer 40,000, it's currently up and running. Based off of Internet Relay Chat technology, this is yet to be the most sophisticated tool of technology for communication between fellow haters. Visit it - but don't be too surprised if there's nobody else in the chat room. Or if there's some lover wanting to get a handful of gossip.
Pokedeth
--An awesome site. It's four years old and is bursting with content, like its own message board, pictures, animations, a banner exchange, and lots more. It collected six thousand hits in an amazing span of only two months! This site is one of the oldest, and it should be visited! If you have a .NET passport, you can be a part of the site.
Pokemon Sux
--Yup, that's right--Pokemon Sux. A very dedicated Pokemon hater, even registering a domain name. The greatest part of the sites is at the beginning--it plays a part of the theme--"Pokemon!"--and then a voice says, "Sucks." The owner's interest in AP and AAP has greatly diminished as well over the months, but he's still accepting material and already has a considerable collection of materials.
The Original Pokemon Suck
--That's right, The original Pokemon Suck. The owner says that this is the original one. Been here since the beginning in 1999. But while it's original it's gone down since the owner didn't really take care of it. There's music clips to download, such as a screwed theme of Pokemon and Team Rocket and an AP pokedex recording. Nice green navigational bar too.
FLAP--Fanatical League Against Pokemon
--A huge website, with an extensive member database and even a "greusume" gallary for those who care. It has an intense rivalary against Pokemon is Rubbish, as Pokemon is Rubbish is accused of stealing their gallery from them many times. This site's interest in Anti-Pokemon has greatly diminished, and Amantia--the owner--and her possee have moved to against Harry Potter.
The Loudhouse Anti-Pokemon site
--Simple, straightforward, easy to navigate. The three must-haves for a site are all incorporated in "Loudhouse." This gets its point straight and has other things, like hatemail, non-bloody pics, and even a page called "The Myths of Anti-Pokemon"! A must-see site. I give it the Common Sense of today. Common Sense was a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine and it was very direct - like this site.
BAN POKEMON
--One of the sites I consider the greatest, with only the hard-core stats to prove that Pokemon should indeed be banned. It's simple and direct, no gibberish geek talk. It's the Common Sense of today, same with the stie before this. I know a whole lot more facts than before because of this site. Visit it!
Pokemon Haters Inc.
--Pokemon haters...a business? Yes, now it is. Welcome to Pokemon Haters Inc., the corporation that hates Pokemon. Real-life corporate positions like CEO. COO. CFO fill the spots normally taken by members or even the owner. New site - but sure worth the visit.
Slugmonkey's Anti-Pokemon website
--An average Anti-Pokemon website. Also known as Matt's Anti-Pokemon website, this site is updated infrequently cause the webmaster has no easy access to the Internet. He has no local access numbers in his area, darn it. Regardless, you should go there anyway when you have time.
Anti-Pokemon Movement
--This is undoubtly the most shocking site of all time. Its last update was on November 20, 2001. Small site, New Zealand owner, with just three pages and one pic. I wish it would update; it hasn't updated in more a year. This site is rated higher than PiR, but barely; go there if you really want to watch paint dry. There's a webring, but there's only one site in there: the owner's Anti-Pokemon site. Some pages aren't even up yet on that site.
That's all for now. If you know of or have an Anti-Pokemon website, let me know, and I'll give you credit for giving it to me! What could be better? And I will rate your site depending on how good it is. |
