When Pokemon first came out, Anti-Pokemon websites (with and without reasons) began to pop-up. Soon afterwards, Anti-Anti-Pokemon websites began to pop up, attempting to destroy our websites, assail the owners, and thrash our content. When the first argument broke out, war was rapidly declared, and I know that AAP is what started the fiasco. They aim to remove our sites; why would we be the aggressors, anyway?
This is extremely illegal and needs to be stopped. The First Amendment of the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States says that we have the right of the press, of petition, of free speech, and of assembly. Even if you don?t live in the U.S., I do, and my site is legal ? you cannot take that away from me. These are basic rights that we hold ? and choose to use.
By creating these websites, we are utilizing our right of the press and of free speech. While there are limits of free speech (such as you can?t post libel or intrude on anyone else?s rights), our websites are still legal under the constitution of the United States. The limits include not threatening anyone and AAP does this all the time. Indirect, mostly; but it assails us directly through threats, yes I know that.
It doesn?t matter what Anti-Anti-Pokemon says??We?re not trying to take away anyone?s rights??the fact is, those sites are illegal and we need to stop them in their tracks. I?ve already started, but help comes from everyone, not those who are motivated to do so. The motivation comes from within ? nothing that AAP can ever even get close to destroying. In no way that our determination and morale will be cracked through these idiots.
Using outdated arguments, stereotypes, and knowingly false and deceptive words, they assail our sites, us, and more. Their arguments: we post bloody pics, we?re protecting the children; we have no reason to hate Pokemon, though my site has more than 20 pages worth of them; we say POKEMON IS GAY, other sites and I do not say that; and we are impolite, rude, and assail lovers, I am quite polite and nice.
Not only is AAP on the wrong track, I prove it over and over again through even more pages. The arguments, its moral, it?s reasons to set up ? I take them all and exploit them. AAP is ironic, read my ?irony of AAP? page; the arguments of bloody pics are smashed to bits, read my ?parents duty? page; the numerous crimes, ?crimes of AAP? and so on.
When e-mailing these websites, however, use extreme caution. These owners are much smarter than the average Pokemon hater. Read their website first, and attack their weak points. Of course, some people are just stubborn; you can?t try to fix them. Here is a handful of websites, with who and what they post:
Use caution when e-mailing Anti-Anti-Pokemon websites. These owners are much smarter than the average Pokemon lover. Read their website first, and attack their weak points. Of course, some people are just stubborn; you can?t try to fix them. Here?s a handful of the few dedicated A-A-P sites I could find, with who and what they post:
Anti-Anti-Pokemon
--This is the best site out there, both AP and AAP. It's AAP, but sees AP in a different light than most sites: it doesn't automatically hate them or badmouth them. It breaks both conceptions of AP and AAP and doesn't have any of the fanaticism that both sides have. I think it's a great start on a site that will soon prove to be helpful to both sides.
PokeLovers Defend Pokemon from those Dang Pokehaters!
--The largest threat to Anti-Pokemon community, this website has reasons, a guestbook, the easiness of gaining access to gory anti-Pokemon websites, and more. The owner, after a hacking that destroyed it outright, has rebuilt it. She has refused e-mail, posted libel, and calls our sites "childish" while being childish herself. If she was grown up, she would drop her site instead of repeatedly changing it and adding even more blown-out-of-proportion pages.
Pkmn Elite 2002's Anti-Anti-Pokemon Site
--I have to say that this ranks far better than most AAP sites. But since I consider AAP to be so low anyway, it's not much. Though this site tells the other side of AP (mine), it still (in my opinion) blows it way out of proportion, declaring us to be mind changers. Folly. Oh well, though.
Poke-Lovers United
--Laughable. This website, created by Blue Angel (a co-mistress of PokeLovers Defend Pokemon from those Dang PokeHaters), is talking of an alliance to beat out Anti-Pokemon. They call for a united collation of deranged (that?s what I consider people who hate us so much that they?ll fight against us) Pokemon lovers to help convince us to take down our sites. I'm convinced that it's dead because Blue Angel, the owner, hasn't made any updates for months.
Anti-Anti-Pokemon
--Site with insanely big font. Beyond that, it's a pretty stupid site. It uses the typical Pokemon hater's arguments and remarks (such as "Pokemon is gay") and claims that lovers are better and more mature than the haters. I'd have to say, you'd better look at what they've done - they're no better than us if not worse in the "POKEMON RULES! YOU SUCK!" stuff.
Green Dragon?s Anti-Anti-Pokemon Website
--This site has no relation whatsoever to me, hbdragon88. Written by a girl (always seems to be that way, perhaps because of the attraction to Pikachu), this is total BS mixed with a horrible green background. They blast us on outdated and antique arguments, say that their fellow Pokemon fan friends are always nice and that we are mean, and worse. Such the norm for utter and complete ignorance.
The Anti-Anti-Pokemon Database
--It was down, but when I made a check recently, it was back up. Horrible site. Half the sites only supports AAP, doesn't take action against us; those half had the picture that was supposed to be published only have a box with an ?X?; and there's no distinguishing section for true AAP sites and mere supporting sites.
Oddish's Anti-Anti-Pokemon Website
--The most malicious website aroumd, this website instructs AAP and Pokemon fans to steal AP sites' source code and alter it to look like AAP to sign Pokemon haters up to newsletters. This cannot stand. As an Angelfire website, it should be reported and removed. Though I tried to get it removed, the administrators found no violation of the rules. It fell just between the rules, and it still survives today. Not as a strong site, but still, a site.
Pokemon Defenders
--Moved its site, appears to be going to start back up its AAP activites. Under Coming soon, there's a "PKMN defenders For Little kids" section that's going to go up. Maybe it'll be better than its measly very out-of-date target list on the old site.
The Good News
SAP--Stop Anti-Pokemon
--A lethal site, it was shut down because the owner wanted to focus more on a Pokemon fan website, instead of an Anti-Anti-Pokemon website. It had a fake ?enemies? page in which enemies of SAP was listed and all. Not to mention some other stuff. But good for him, making the right move to fan sites.
EREF--Equal Rights for Pokemon
--A somewhat bogus site, SPhosting shut down this site because it didn?t access it within 30 days or violated the member agreement of Sphosting. Two girls until one dropped out had run it and another girl came in to provide equal rights for Pokemon. It accused us of being ?dark and sister.? and said to "adopt" Pokemon to save them from us. They were real fanatics on it and even went to believe it.
PLAAPS
--A site, with the slogan ?Pokemon brings happiness to all children--and some adults--without any negative side effects.? A chat, some really happy music, and some sections is the whole site, really. They aimed at politely emailing Anti-Pokemon site owners and asking them to remove their sties. The Net Nomad told me that the owner was going to shut down the site, so it really wasn?t a big surprise. But still good news, regardless!
Anti-Pokemon NO!
--This site was the most despicable of the bunch. It had published a modified IM conversation he had between him and the Net Nomad, a totally false one. But now, it?s gone, with a compromise dealing between him and the Net Nomad. NN took his link down and the IM conversation is gone. Another AAP site/section removed! This is what I call true compromise.More later.
