SEARCHING
My dear friend, where are you tonight.
I have looked for you till the morning light.
I have longed for your loving arms to wrap around me.
I have looked as far as across the deep blue sea.
I did not find you as I walked trough the cold bitter rain.
Why can you not see, this is causing my heart so much pain.
I lone for you as the moon had shown down with a glow.
Hoping at anytime you and your love would show.
I looked up at the old oak tree and across the plains, with skies that were blue.
I walked alone knowing you were here, I just needed to find you.
I have always been alone, even in a crowd.
I knew you were somewhere close, I thought as I cried out loud.
Now many moons have passed me by.
I never seen or heard from you I thought to myself with a tear in my eye.
I looked for you at the park one Sunday morning during the spring.
Then I heard the chime of the church bells ring.
My heart jumped and started beating fast.
After many years of searching, I found you at last!
