Goodevening. Several weeks ago, at the Quidditch World Cup, I, Hermione Granger, noticed the brutality towards house elves. When I arrived at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I learned that house elves are used even in a school! Today, house elves endure the following:

-Slave labor
-Poor working conditions
-Poor living conditions
-Horrid punishment from the home-owner

Today, my organization S.P.E.W is based on the fact that wizards and elves are equal! I am here tonight, to raise the idea that elves should be treated fairly. In all honesty, the home-owners discipline their own child nearly 75 percent less than they discipline their small and helpless house elf. S.P.E.W is here to help house elves by enforcing the following:

-All elves must be payed at least minimum wage.
-All elves should be fed and cleaned.
-All elves should be treaty the way the home-owner would be treater.
-All elves should be able to carry a wand (In order to defend themselves.)
-All elves should be punished for ONLY using something as serious as The Unforgivable Curses
