| I carry a Emergency Notebook in my van. I have all parents sign 2 of all my Emergency Forms, that way, the information is always with me. In my notebook is all the local emergency numbers also. I carry pictures of the children and the names with contact information available with it. (just in case) I have an emergency packet by my phone also. All the children know where it is and what to do if something happens to me. I feel you need to be prepared for anything, I also feel that the kids need to be prepared. We have Safety Meetings to discuss what to do if something happens to me. They feel very important and love to show me what they know, also the meetings help keep everything fresh in the minds.We practice Fire Drills and are Safe Place's, also reminding them to always keep the doorways free from toys so we can get out.
