| These are the new CD's of 1999 reviewed by me and knowone else so its all true. ( The new ones are at the bottom! ) 12.1.99 Maximum Hardcore: 3 CD pack £15.00Virgin Records and Circa Records 1999 Mixed by: DJ SY DJ Vibes DJ Slipmatt Disc 1 DJ SY The SY disc is just what you would expect from him, because theres lots of top tunes with loads of scratching in the tracks. Check out track 2,3 and 12 Score 8/10 Disc 2 DJ Vibes This has got to be the best vibes as ever done. Because the tunes are top quality, its so good this one CD is worth £15.00. If you don't buy this you have miss out on some top tunes. Check out track 2,7 and 14 Score 10/10 Disc 3 DJ Slipmatt Whats happened to slipmatt his gone from a good DJ to the worlds most rubbish DJ of all time. Slipmatt if your reading this come back to hardcore not hardhouse! But there are some good tracks there more to the end of the CD. Score 4/10 Maximum Hardcore is very good if you don't buy this you have missed out 3.2.99 Polygram Records and Heaven Music Mixed by: DJ Vibes DJ Slipmatt DJ Scott Brown DJ Vinyl Groover Disc 1: Vibes and Slipmatt This CD has got some good tunes and slipmatt has come back to hardcore and not hardhouse "thank god". Vibes is on form like always and there are some old and new tunes for you to enjoy. Score: 8/10 Disc 2: Scott.B and Vinyl Groover With this you get some banging tunes from scotty and from Vinyl Groover you can't go wrong all of the tunes are top vinyl groover is getting better ever time I hear him. Score 8/10 Hardcore Heaven 5 is not has good has Maximum Hardcore but still its worth buying. 20.2.99 This Is Noise 2 CD pack £16.00Mixed by SY and Unknown Features Hixxy, Force and Styles etc. Cd 1 Old school & Cd 2 new stuff. A review will be coming soon "when I buy it" 8.3.99 Slammin Vinyl Records 1999 Mixed by: Vibes Brisk Slipmatt and Scott Brown CD 1: Vibes and Brisk This is the best cd vibes and brisk have ever done, brisk is a god he has brought life into this cd the tunes are dam good! Take my word for it this worth buying. Vibes just keeps on going on from good tunes to better tunes "vibes you lord of sound". Score 10/10!!!!!!! CD 2: Slipmatt and Scott Brown This is about the same has hardcore heaven 5 but it has some good remixes theres a remixed prodigy tune ( No Good )which Scott brown has done and its better than the original, also slipmatts remixed time after time by Vinylgroover which is dam good. But all in all this second cd is much the same as Hardcore Heaven 5. Score 7/10 18.4.99 BONKERS 6 3CD pack £15.99 (CD or Tape)1999 React Music LTD Mixed by: DJ DOUGAL DJ SY DJ VIBES First of all before I reveiw each CD you get in this pack, I would like to say that this is the best Bonkers yet. Sy, Vibes and Dougal have done a dam good job on this. CD1 Dougal Dougals CD is just what you would expect from him. Theres alot of cheesey tunes in there, and they all sound great. He also done a good job on the mixing. Score 9/10 CD 2 SY SY just keeps on getting better, his scratching is faster and more differant if you listen to it you will know what I'm going on about. The best tune on there is Ham,Demo and Justin Time with "Here I am" its fantasic what a top tune! Score 9/10 CD 3 Vibes Vibes has done a dam good job on this I like the choice of tunes he as put in, the ravers choice on this is one of the best and DJ slams "I'm Back" has been changed for the better. Score 9/10 Bonkers 6 is the best in the collection and dougal has prooved that he is still the master in bonkers this is a must if your into hardcore. "nice to see techno wonderland in there" 1/11/99 Alpha Bites The Hardcore Sampler1 CD £7.89 Mixed by DJ Brisk We like the guys at alphamagic and if the CD starts of with Together Forever then your onto a winner. I know that theres only one CD but its worth much more than £7.89. It has the fastest version of Time after Time I have heard in my life it shows off Storms remixing! (and don't be put off with beans at the front of the cover!) |
