Membership, Clubs and Committees
1. Full Membership of the style for an individual is only with the approval of the senior club members and the club committee in consultation with the club Sensei at the Dojo where the applicant for full membership is training.

2. All clubs will have a committee and committees will have permanent members one of whom will be the Club Sensei and the other the most Senior grade. Senior grade will be defined in terms of length of time training and rank obtained.

3. It will be required that any holding of club committee office such as Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer will be by election at the Annual General Meeting of the club. It is not necessary that the Club Sensei or the Senior grade hold the role of club committee officers, though they are entitled to be put themselves or be put forward for these offices and may occupy one of these roles if so elected


 
Obligations of members
4. A member will not at any time reveal even a small part of the traditions taught to outsiders, without express permission of their club Sensei.

5. A member will agree to return all texts and equipment that may have been received during study and practice if borrowed and will return any such items in good condition as soon as they have been finished using them to study. Such items will always be handled with the utmost care.

6. A member agrees to train regularly and devote themself to practice, in order to develop the intuitive principle (Ri) of Nihon Go Shin Kage Ryu.

7. A member agrees to refrain from doing wrong.

8. A member will not demonstrate techniques or test oneself against others without obtaining permission in advance.

9. A member agrees not to cause the senseless destruction of life.

10. A member agrees not to criticise others.

11. A member agrees not to engage in any shady or deceitful acts.

12. A member agrees to abide with the principle of mutual respect for all martial arts.

13. A member agrees to always comprehend and observe instructions, even when one cannot help expressing ones own views.

14. A member agrees that any breach of the rules will result in ones expulsion and the forfeiture of all ranks and honours awarded at any time by the style.
