| -SAIYAN SAGA- In an attempt to conclude a final confrontation between Goku and Raditz, Piccolo fires off a Special Beam Cannon and winds up killing them both. It couldn't have happened at a worse time as Earth is then invaded by the evil Vegeta and his prime henchman Nappa. It all looks bleak for Earth when champions such as Choazu, Tien and Piccolo are killed by Nappa. When it's down to Gohan and Krillan, a new warrior named Kakorat appears. Kakorat is non the less Goku, back from the dead and more powerful then ever! Does this mean all goes well for the surviving heroer? Hardly. Vegeta has one last secrete weapon yet and he's not afraid to use it. By the time all is said and done, Goku is in a bodycast from head to toe, and Gohan must find the alien planet's Dragon Balls to bring back the fallen comrads. -NAMEK SAGA- Gohan, Krillan and Bulma arrive on Namek to discover they arent the only ones hunting for the world's Dragon Balls. Vegeta's also there and he isn't alone. The evil android warlord Frieza is also there. He's an alien that destroyed Vegeta and Goku's home world and is more powerful then the rest of them combined. -FREAZA SAGA- It all looks truly bleak when Frieza manages to get his hands on all the Dragon Balls while his Ginyu Force is deciding who gets to kill one of the heros. The question stands if Goku can get to Namek in time to save his son and allies before the super-powerful Frieza has his way. By the time the who saga ends planet Namek is up in flames! -GALRIC JR. SAGA- One of the shortest sagas in the series, this adventure takes place without Goku who is still recovering from his fight with Frieza. In one of the DBZ movies, Dead Zone, we were introduced to the villan Garli. Now his son, Garlic Jr., has escaped from the Dead Zone and kidnaps Kame and Popo to boot. If that isn't enough , he lets loose a black water mist on Earth that makes everyone on the planet evil. It's up to Krillan and Gohan to not only free Kame and Popo, but help the two find enough Sacred Water to free the planet from the Black Mist. -ANDROID SAGA/TRUNKS SAGA- Now, a future unknown warrior has come back in time to save them from Friezabot and his evil father King Cold. He awaits the return of Goku and then delivers a little welcome home gift and a few unexpected twisted turn of events when the androids come and hit. But even though we have that Goku is going to get a deadly heart virus that kills him! And maybe a few people will get together and we will have a new Z Fighter born from two very unexpected people that were dragged together by faith. -CELL SAGA- Trunks is the only fighter who travels back intime to change history. But another time traveler is Cell, who is out to help the androids and kill Trunks in a second time! After fighting to a drw with Piccolo, Cell goes after the surviving androids. Like Piccolo, Cell can merge with other forms. The big difference is Piccolo can only form with other Namekians while Cell can do it with anything. It all breaks down to a fight between Cell and Gohan. What Gohan doesn't know though is Cell carries a self-destruct machanism in him that's so powerful it will take the entire Earth with him. It will all end with a major fatality that even the Dragon Balls can't bring back. -BUU SAGA- A new menace, called the Doubler, makes a grand entrance by turning Krillan and Piccolo into stone statues. Then, the Doubler creates a new, even more evil form of Vegeta called Majin Vegeta and turns loose on Goku. That isn't all the Z Warriors have to worry about though. Another villan, Badibee, is out to resurrect the extremely chaotic Fat Buu. Fat Buu is so powerful he easily defeats Goku. So it comes down to Bulma again out trying to gather the Dragon Balls in time. This time though the entire universe is at stake. Note: There is a lot more happening in each saga. These are only selected bits that come most important. |
