| Those who say they will never eat Spinach will love this soup, but dont tell them, unitl they are finished, what they ate. |
SPINACH SOUP
1 Large pot
1 Gallon Distilled water
24 Ounces Leaf Spinach
2 lbs. Skinless Chicken
4 Tbsp. Of Chicken Broth Powder or 8 Cubes
Note: Use powder or cube broth that has no MSG in its formula
1 Medium Onion Chopped
1 Clove of Garlic Chopped
1 16 oz. Container of French Onion Dip.
1 Tbsp. Lemon & Pepper Seasoning
1 Tbsp. Oregano
1 Tbsp. Parsley
1 Tbsp. Basil
1 Tsp. Thyme
Add 1/2 gallon of Water and the Chicken, to pot. Cook on high to boiling, and cook, covered, for 15 minuets. Reduce heat, take chicken out of water and cut up in small pieces. Add back into pot. Throw Away Bones and unwanted parts.
Add other 1/2 gallon of water, Spinach. Chicken broth or cubes, Onion, Garlic, lemon and Pepper Seasoning, Oregano, Parsley, Basil, and Thyme. Bring back to boil. Boil for 5 minuets. Stirring every three minuets. Then adjust heat to medium heat. Cook for 15 minuets more stirring every five minuets.
Add The French Onion Dip to pot, and cook for 5 minuets more, stirring twice every minuet.. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers. If not going to eat within seven days then freeze leftovers. If refrigerated for over seven days, and not frozen, discard leftovers |
