Grombe Actions
To make the Gromble blink, press L or R on the screen that appears before the start of a level.

To make the Gromble open his eyes wide, hold R + DOWN when the Gromble appears before a level, or at the options screen. After releasing these buttons, he'll appear to be angry.

Level Select
When in the first level, part 2 go to the trash heap and press: L,L+R,R,R,Up,Down,L+R,SELECT,START. If done correctly you will hear a scream.

Monster Sounds
When the Nickelodeon logo appears on the screen, press any direction on the control pad to start the theme music. Now press A, B, X, or Y to make sounds.

Scare Saving Tip
To save your scares, throw trash. And don't worry if you run out of fish skeletons, you still have garbage! But when in doubt, you can use the scares you saved up.

Donky Kong Country II Codes

2-Up in Hot Head Hop
In the level 'Hot Head Hop', throw your partner right above the entrance. If you look closely you will see a black treasure box. Pick it up and throw it at the first rat. The box contains a 2-Up.

50 Lives
At the gameplay select screen highlight the Cheat Mode option and press Y, A, SELECT, A, DOWN, LEFT, A, DOWN.

All 75 Kremkoins

In Pirate Panic, go into K.Rool's cabin (don't collect the balloon) and then leave.
Jump over the first two bananas, then collect the next bunch on top of the barrels. Still avoiding the first pair of bananas, return to the cabin and grab the balloon.
Repeat step 2 then return to the cabin, still avoiding the first two bananas. You'll get a floating Kremcoin in the air. Grab it to automatically get all the Kremkoins.

Automatic End
In the first level of the game (I forget what it's called), when you enter Gateway Galleon, go on top of the barrels and jump over to the first hook. You need Dixie to do this. Hold down the fast button and jump over to your left, and whip out that helicopter thing. While you're going down, you will hear a noise like you are getting shot out of a barrel, and you will get blasted to a part in the ship where there is a lot of bananas and two doors, one to your left and one to your right. Exit through the one to your right and you will end up at the hook at the end of the level.

Best Ending
To see the best ending, you must have all the DK coins and found all the secrets. Once you've done this, beat all the LOST WORLD stages and the crocodile head will open in the middle of the LOST WORLD. Enter it for the special ending.

Cheat Mode
To activate cheat mode, enable the Music Test, then press Down repeatedly until Cheat Mode appears. At this point you can gain 50 lives by pressing Y, A, Select, A, Down, Left, A, Down. To eliminate the DK barrels, press B, A, Right, Right, A, Left, A, X. Now start the game. If you did this correctly you should get Diddy and Dixxie Kong whenever you start.

Coin Status
To check how many D.k. coins you have at cranky's video game heros place do the following:

At the map screen press L,R,R,L,R,R,L,R,R (the top buttons) until a screen comes up that says "cranky's video game heros".

Easy Walkin'
In the honey comb levels, you can walk through the sticky honey without jumping.
Use the tag team method so that Diddy or Dixie is on one or the other's shoulders. Once you've done this, walk through the honey without sticky feet.

Hidden Bonuses
In Krazy Kremland, at the very beginning of the level "Hornet Hole", let the other character climb on your back. Throw them Up and Left to find a hidden hook. After that, climb a wall of honey. At the top are 2 hidden bonuses.

Many extra lives in Krem Quay
fWhen you get to Krem Quay, the first level you're in is Barrel Bayou. Proceed through the level until you get to two Kloaks throwing beetles. The first one will run off, but the other one will throw another beetle and leave, follow him. He won't go too far before he throws a treasure chest at you. Go to the bee at the end of the platform but dont break the chest on him. Go back and the two kloaks will be there again. Break the chest on a beetle and repeat the process as many times as you want because the 2-life balloon comes back as well.

Music Test
Start a new game in two-player Team mode, them press Down repeatedly until a Music Test appears.

No DK Barrels
At the gameplay select screen highlight the cheat mode option and press the following buttons:

B, A, RIGHT, RIGHT, A, LEFT, A, X

Chrono Trigger Codes

Crono Vs. Lavos
To fight against Lavos with just Crono, start a NEW GAME +, then when you first try the telepod, go on the wrong side, and press the A button (making sure you have the best equipment on). This will take you directly to Lavos.

HINT: The fight is much easier if you have a gold stud equipped.

Defeating Lavos
First, make sure you have the best (or VERY good) equipment with you, such as elixers, mega elixers, and some other things to heal you, or fill up your magic. Now, the easiest way to kill him is to use the epoch and go to 1999 A.D.

Now you will run into Lavos and you won't have to fight the shell. When you start to fight Lavos, attack him with the Luminaire, or another good spell that hurts. First attack and get rid of the arms. As soon as thats done, attack the body until its gone.

Now, this part, is VERY hard to most players. No matter what you do, you will go to fight the Lavos Core. Attack the middle guy, and kill him. This part it pretty hard, but you should accomplish it. Now, attack the Left guy that is floating. Keep doing it until the 2 guys revive the middle guy. They will do this every time he dies, or until you beat the game. Now, once again, kill the middle, and continue to attack the left bit. Keep attacking, and killing until the left bit dies. As soon as it dies, all three of the guys die!

Double Speed Chrono Theme
This trick will speed up the 2nd Chrono's Theme (When you ram through Lavos with the Epoch) by 2x. This won't affect gameplay, but it is a neat trick to use.

1. First, get in the Epoch and go to 1999 A.D.

2. When you get to the part where you choose whether to fight Lavos or escape, choose to escape.

3. Press B to return to the game, and it will ask you the question again. This time, choose to fight Lavos. When the 2nd Crono theme plays, it will be sped up by 2x.

Not that the music will cut out before the scene ends, but don't worry. Everything will return to normal when Epoch crashes.

Easy Silver Points
If you're going to then fair you're going to need some silver points. They're mostly just for fun right now, but later in the game you'll need them to get the Crono clone. You can sit there and play the bell-ringing game for all eternity and not have enough, since you only get one silver point-per-win that way. Instead, focus on the races. Pay attention to the old man standing behind the fence to the right of the starting point. He will tip you off to the winner the first three times. After that, it's best to just predict the same winner over and over, and you can follow and distract the other racers by trying to talk to them repeatedly. Have fun!

Easy Tech Points
Go to Mt. Woe and fight rubbles. When you get to the second level (with the rubble on the top right corner) fight it, then go back to the previous level. When you go back, the rubble is also be back. You get 1000 exp. and 100 tech points each time you beat it.

Extra Tabs
One tab lies hidden behind Toma's grave in 1000 A.D., after you pour the pop on his tombstone.

Another tab lies hidden against the lower wall to the right of the door, in the room which is above the spot where the robot player fights his old friend Atropos inside the robot factory in 2300 A.D.

Find Magus' Best Equipment
To find Magus' best equipment, simply go to ozzie's fort. When you enter a room where he tempts you to take a treasure, ignore him and leave the room from the upper exit. Right when you're about to exit, he gives up and you're free to steal the treasure. Below the upper exit is a hole in the wall that you can't see. Walk all the way down and take a weapon, helm, and armor for magus. There should also be a magic tab in the same area.

Free Armor and Helms
At Different times in the game if you go back to Lucca's house in 1000 a.d. Taban(her father) will have made items her to wear, and usually they will be stronger that what she has equiped and always will have other positive affects. Here is a list of the items Taban makes:

Note: These items may be neither sold nor equipped by any other party member.

Get the MOP!
To get the mop, simply Charm (yes, the spell) the NU at the hunting grounds in 65,000,000 B.C. Unless you get it when you're still early in the game, it will be weak, and worthless (unless you'd like to brag about it....)

Hidden Room in Ozzie's Fort
At Ozzie's Fort in the room where Ozzie tries to get you to get the chest, keep against the walls and you should find a hidden small, thin hallway (its covered in black until you discover it.) The chests there have some of Magus's best armor and also his best weapon.

Hidden Room in Yakra's Place
In Yakra's Place in the room with the fake queen, king and soldier go in and kill the fakes, then run against the right and you should find a room with monsters singing to a magus statue. Right next to the statue there are two treasure chests. Also you can talk to a monster after getting the chests. Talk to a monster and you will fight them.

How to face Yaraka XXII
Go to Giant's Claw in 600 A.D. Beat all the enemys for experience points for when you fight a try and similar to the one in 65,000,000 B.C. Once you beat him, go straight ahead to the rainbow shell and ask Gaurdia castle to help you pick it up. Then go to 1,000 A.D. Go to Guardia castle and when you go their, there's another trial but this time it's against Marle's dad. If you find your way to the trial, you'll notice a treasure chest that's locked. To open the chest you must face Yaraka XXII to get the key. In the chest the real chancelor awaits you, open it, then, if you decide you want to fight Lavos you will get the moonlight parade for a ending.

New Game +
After beating the game once a new option will appear. If you select it and load one of your saved games you'll restart with all the items you had in the previous game. If you beat the game this time you'll get a different ending.

Power Up for the Future
The chests work logically with the timeline. If you get a chest in the past it will not be there in the future. But, if you get a chest in the future and go back in time the chest will be there with a different item.

However, instead of simply getting the sealed chests from future to past, go to the past, and when you SELECT A SEALED CHEST choose NOT to take out whats inside. THEN go to the future and get that same box. Whatever was inside will become something MORE POWERFUL because you said NO to it in the past.

Others objects may power-up as well, so check every chest in this manner.

Secret Scene
When you are in your jail cell, take the bag, drink from the cup and save it if you want. Wait in the cell until the day of the execution. When you are about to be beheaded, one of your team members(the one who built the telepods at the fair) will come and shoot all your enemies and save you with her new gun the Zonker 38. Now, the only enemies that should be alive are the big shield things.

Skip Guard Fights
When you are in the prison for kidnapping Marel, if you break out before Lucca saves you you can avoid the fights that have Guards in them; if you sneak up behind them, and push A Crono pulls out his sword and knocks them out. When they are passed out if you push A next to them you get a Mid Tonic.

Unlimited Power Tabs
You'll need Ayla in your party to do this. When you're in the Black Omen at the end, in the room right after the two Nus there's a turbo monster. Use charm with Ayla and you'll get a powertab. Run away and go back into the room with the Nu's. Go back to the tubo and steal from him again. Do this until you have as many powertabs as you want.

Unlock the Factory Door
If your having trouble with the door on the very bottom floor try this. Whenever you go to the computer and it asks you to enter the code, press X, A, B, Y.

extra cash and loda sword in prison
When you are a captive after "kidnapping" Marle, wait the three days instead of rushing ahead. From the execution room turn right, go up and keep going until you reach a cell with a hole in the wall, go out this hole and climb down the wall. keep going until you see another entrance. Explore this room until you see a black hole in the floor. Go down by pressing the A button. There will be a lot of prizes for those who had the patience to come here. go back up the same way to get back into the prison.
