Life was never meant to be complex. That is as Webster defined it hard to separate, analyze or solve. In the Garden of Eden, the Lord God provided everything for Adam and Eve to live and survive. Everything they needed was "at their fingertips" even the chance to mess it all up.
Simplicity such a hard concept to figure out. Thanks to "first family"with a little nudge from "Satan" life became complex. Many years past and the Lord said that is enough, what I created I will destroy, except for one man, Noah, the human race would have been "history". Noah was told to build an ark for him and anyone who would come to escape a great flood, of course at that point no one had ever heard of flooding. So after 120 years of build a specific type of ark, one that would need to hold all the animals that the Lord would send him, and his family, who were the only one's to believe there would be a flood. The rain came and all the scoffers, and disbelievers died in the flood, actually the whole earth was covered with water, it rained forty days and forty nights. God promised Noah, he would never again flood the earth on account of man, the sign of his promise is the rainbow. Simple, God makes a promise and has kept it, remember when you see the rainbow.
Well, we all know society went down hill from there, basically, we have had our good and bad times. But, the Jews, God's chosen people are the one's he picked as his own, and through that lineage he sent a Savior. The Savior, though a pure Jew is for all people, and for all time. One who became a sacrifice for all sins of all people. Simple. God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts and only he knows the reason for this plan, but to us it should just be a simple solution to a complex problem, sin. Satan's pride got him kicked to earth, starting in the garden
he has been testing mankind's obedience to the creator,(and use of his freewill) continually.
The war for our minds goes on, the believers are not without a mediator (Jesus, Savior) or a comforter/guide (Holy Spirit) if we will only believe in God's simple solution. Jesus, God in flesh, came to earth, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, suffered death on a cross, went to Hell three days, arose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father even now interceding for the people. Simple. Life can be simple, just put your faith in what Christ has done.
