Something that has always been on my mind. WTF is all this "I am not gonna wave this guy because he has this type of bike" What? Are you a better person than him because of what you ride? Are they the enemy? Are you a Jeckel and Hide when it comes to riding your bike?. When I had both Harley and Sports bike I had a situation that always made me laugh. When going to work in the morning I seen this guy on a HD every time. On the days I rode the HD he would smile and wave and when caught at a light he would speak to me about this and that. When I rode the rocket he ignored me. He did not know it was me because I wore a dark tinted helment. The first couple of times I seen him he would not look at me. The after a couple of times I just gave up trying. I it made me laugh. The days I would ride the hd he was a cool guy nice and happy. The days I rode the rocket he looked the other way or just straight ahead. I got such a laugh at this that I never told this person it was me on the rocket. This went on for a year and now I dont see him anymore. Of course I had times when I was on the HD when the sports bike guys would do the same thing. But that story stood out because of the amount of times it happend. Those of you who have both types of bikes know what I mean. It makes you realize just how childish and ignorant people can be or become.
The motorcycle community makes up of a small fraction of the population on the roads in the USA. Why the hell are we treating each other that way. I guess it may be people do that to each other so much it becomes a circle of rudeness. I have owned three HDs and 4 sport bikes over the years. I love them both. I love to ride. I think motorcycle riders have enought stacked up against them. They should be working together not seperating themselves.
Anyway, That's my thought for now.
