OUR TRAILER
Be It Ever So Humble.....

NEW! Poetry and Doll Maker with Galleries!     [Learn About Our Ecommerce]
Graphics Gallery!

This is a picture of our trailer. It's a '91 Layton Funtime, and boy is it ever fun.
We keep it in Greenport,N.Y. at the Eastern Long Island Kampground. As the name implies,Greenport is on the eastern end of Long Island. The Campground is open 6 months out of the year, from mid April to mid October. Those 6 months always seem to fly by so quickly.
We have many friends at the campground. It is situated in a very rural section of L.I. Actually the North Fork is the last real rural area on Long Island.
The Town of Greenport was once an actual seaport village. It still retains much of its original charm. There are nautical shops and stores along the main street of town.An old movie theater dating back to the early part of the century still operates during the busy summer months.Small quaint restraunts cater to the seafood lovers, serving clams, lobster and all types of fish.
Back at the campground things move at a liesurly pase. This is the aspect of camping that I like the best.Away from the presures of everyday life. Here you can pretend that the world still is a small town.It is here that I developed my love of reading (see books and authors page).
Only seventy miles from home, but it feels like alot more.
