Anyway, did you read the title? "Talent is not in a guitar." No, talent is in the way you play the guitar. Same with voices. So, why do people have to critisize our boys for being untalented and not musicians? They're every bit as much musicians as KoRn or Limp Bizkit. Just because they don't waste their time with negative emotions and don't play instruments is not a reason to critisize them in this way. Allow me to prove my point.
This is an advertisement for the upcoming Family Values tour. This is where all the quote unquote "talented musicians" will come together and mosh pit and do drugs and drink and fuck, etc. But, WAIT! Their main focus is supposed to be music...hmmm...let's think about that really quickly. We're gonna have Redman, Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock and many others jumping up and down onstage and screaming. THESE are musicians? Yeah RIGHT! I'm sorry, you guys, but I don't think sex is in the ciriculam of musicianship. Sure, playing that guitar really well and drums well is, but sex, drugs and more drugs certainly is NOT! And let's not forget the way these people critisize *N SYNC on "acting black when they're not." Um...can we say, "Hypocrite"? I think so. Fred Durst is probably blacker than Redman himself. At least, he THINKS he is! I mean, let's get real here. I mean, that's what these "musicians" want us to do. Hey, all you "musicians"! Have you ever had vocal lessons? Can you harmonize? Can you dance? Can you make your voice go up and down fifths and octaves without fucking up? How about this: Can you REALLY get a crowd pumped up without throwing beer all over them? I honestly think this is a cover-up for poor musicianship. I believe that point is made. |
