Cheats:
Catching Really High LVL Pokémon: First, use FLY to go to
Viridian City. Then, go talk to the old man that shows you how to
catch pokémon (location of old man: far left from the Viridian City
gym). When talking to him, say "NO" and watch catch a
WEEDLE. When he is done, use FLY to go to Cinnabar Island.
Next, use SURF on the right side of Cinnabar Island and keep
simming up and down on the right edge of Cinnabar Island. Soon
you will fight either a really high LVL MISSINGNO. (about LVL
160!), a low LVL 'M (about LVL 0!), or a really high LVL pokémon
(about LVL 150!). READ: Catching the MISSINGNO. or 'M can
mess up your game but catching anyother pokémon a high LVL
there can't. If the pokémon you caught is over LVL 100, if it gets
any experience at all, it will go back down to LVL 100, but you can
still link up your game boy with someone else and use that
pokémon without it going to LVL 100!

Getting A TON Of Any Item: First, put the item you want a TON of
in your item slot sixth to the top. Then, go to Cinnabar Island and
go trade with any trainer in the Pokémon Lab (location of Pokémon
Lab: bottom left corner of Cinnabar Island). After you are done
trading, use SURF on the right side of Cinnabar Island. Swim up
and down on the right edge of Cinnabar Island until you fight a
MISSINGNO. (probably LVL 80). Defeat that MISSINGNO. and
keep swimming up and down there until you fight another
MISSINGNO. Defeat that MISSINGNO. and look at your item on
the slot sixth to the top in your items. It will be at about 250 or 350
or mabey 500! You may use this cheat as many times as you want
with any item, and this cheat will not mess up your game as far as I
know.
