| Fri, 20 Nov 1998 George EDMENSON, had two sons Harvey James and William , Wife Sarah Wilson In Ohio. Harvey born in 1875 and William two years later.Sarah Died. William went to live with a family named Bettes in Ohio.George had a sister named Clara who married a Thomas.Does anyone have information on this family? George died in Idaho in 1930.He worked on railroad in Ohio.Need help on this family. We have John Alexander Pharoah,my great grandfather's christening record from 1818 at St. Gabriel's Presbyterian Church in Montreal. His father was also John Pharoah and his mother was Margaret Anderson. We have no record of sibblings for John Alexander, although family tradition says that he had a brother Sam near Montreal and a niece who worked in Quebec City. We know that John Alexander resided in Williamsburg, Ontario with his wife Mariah Merkley, and after her death in 1859, he and most of his ten children ended up in Lisbon, St. Lawrence County, N.Y., and he remarried to Mary Ann Lawrence and had seven more children. Many of his children and descendants scattered all across U.S. and a few stayed in Canada. John Alexander Pharoah's parents are no where to be found prior to or after the christening. Jesse remarried on April 5th of 1855 to Mrs. Martha Emmitt.Again they were married in Shelby County. Jesse remarried in 1897 in Kansas to a Louisa Lanier. In the 1900 Census he was living alone.
