Dragon Cave Course

In Match race, beat the five courses on hard mode. This will unlock the Dragon Cave course.

Deadly Fall Course

In Match race, beat the six courses on expert mode. This will unlock the Deadly Fall course.

Panda Boarder

Beat Time Attack, Contest and Trick Attack and completely get rid of any EAD scores (it doesn't matter what initials
you use -- but in the end, there should be no
EAD records left). Now on the character selection screen highlight Rob. Press C-right and then A (you should be on
the sceen that shows character technique,
speed, balance, power and jump). If you've done it correctly you will see Rob's picture replaced with the Panda
Boarder at the track selection screen.

Panda Tweak

Note: Only the Panda Boarder can do this trick When in the air, press R and move the analog stick in a
counterclockwise circle, then press R and left (reverse these
controls to do a Panda Tweak in the opposite direction). This trick earns you 300 points.

One Foot

Note: Only the Panda Boarder can do this trick When in the air, press R and down on the analog stick. Your Panda
will now do a one-foot trick in the air, worth
400 points.

Front Flip

Note: Only the Panda Boarder can do this trick When in the air, press R and up on the analog stick. Panda will now
perform a front flip in the air, worth 100 points.
You can also perform this move close to the ground.

Back Flip

Note: Only the Panda Boarder can do this trick When in the air, press R and down on the analog stick. Panda will
now perform a back flip in the air, worth 100
points. You can also perform this move close to the ground.

Fall off the Course

Just follow these steps:

1.Go to Mountain Village with any character
2.Play level normally until you reach the tunnel
3.While in the tunnel go to the right side of the fork two times
4.Don't jump off the cliff but instead move your character toward the wall in front of the jump
5.Move to the wall where all the snow lines meet together and hold the analog stick to the upper
left and hold it there.

If done correctly, your character will slip into a sky dive and fall of the course (the graphics on
the wall make it very easy to see)
You only have about 7 seconds in the air and then suddenly you are on the left side of the
cave
This trick takes a lot of practice to master but it is well worth it

Penguin Board

In training mode perform all 24 tricks (including both 1080s). Now, at the board selection screen highlight the Tahoe
151 board and press C-down followed by A.

Crystal Boarder

To Get the Crystal Boarder beat expert mode and go to Akira and hold Left-C and hit A.

Metal Boarder

Win the expert mode with the Crystal boarder. Now on the character selection screen highlight Kensuke. Press
C-Up, and then A (you should be on the sceen that
shows character technique, speed, balance, power and jump). If you've done it correctly you will see Kensuke's
picture replaced with the Metal boarder at the track
selection screen.

Get Every Trick in Training Easily

Here's a cool trick to easily clear all tricks in the Training Mode (so that you can get the Penguin Board). Go into the
Training Mode with any character and do a
couple of the simple tricks (so that they turn red in the trick list). Then, when you get to a trick you can't do, go to
your trick list and pick a real easy trick (like a
board grab). Do the easy trick and immediately press C-Right to go back into the trick list while you are still in the air.
Now select the trick you can't do (like a 1080,
for example) and go back into the game. Land your board and the game will think you actually did that trick.

Quick Start

During the countdown of a race, right before you start (3-2-1), wait until the 1 disappears and press Up on the
Control Stick. This will cause you to lunge forward
and give you a much quicker start. It may take a bit of practice though to get your timing perfect.

Shortcuts and Tricks

DEADLY FALLS - At the start go straight you'll notice little mounds to the left and a fork the computer goes right
when the mountain pertrudes on go left you'll see
a mound ramping up hit it, it will thin out to a peak ride to the point and you'll fly up on to the mountain then theres
another little mound on that go left around it and
cut back sharply then aim forward you should go on to an ice bridge(a bit tricky to find)then follow it until your back
on the main hill when you get back down you
should see a mound in front of you with a hole in it but don't take it just turn straight down and go your usual way
through the outcrops of trees.

DRAGON FOREST - On the dragon forest track, once you have gone over the first bridge, stick to the left. Soon
you will encounter a fork in the trail, go left once
more and in front of you there will be a gaping hole in wall across a small gap. Jump with the A button to span the
chasm and you will land in this secret pathway. The
path is basically a straight, fast detour that will spit you out around the second bridge with imfantessimally quicker
results compared to any other route.

CRYSTAL LAKE - Right after the big jump, you will see a house with a ramp beside it straight ahead. Go off the
course and hit the ramp, and you will find a shorter
route than the normal one.

CRYSTAL PEAK - Right after coming out of the tunnel, you will turn right. You will then see two different pathes.
Hit the right one. Be sure that after coming out of
the tunnel you make the right turn pretty sharp, or you may not be able to turn in time to hit the right path. The right
path is much shorter and you will bupass some
tough obstacles.

DRAGON COVE - If you're a little behind near the end and are willing to take a risk, drive straight through the little
shack and ride the thin cable to a small lead, but
be careful; if you land poorly it will most likely cost you the race.

GOLDEN FOREST - When you reach the fork with trees and powder in the middle, go in the powder. After a while
you will see a large log going in the air. Ride up
it to get to a further part of the track. Note: it takes practice to maneuver up the log so keep trying.

MOUNTAIN VILLAGE - Inside the cave may seem like a maze, but stick to the right side and you will find your
way through much easier.

Easier Landings

Here's a trick that will help you nail every landing. In the air, line your board up with the ground, maybe leaning back a
little bit and right before you hit the ground,
press Z. If you did it right your legs will come up right before you hit the ground and you'll have a MUCH smoother
landing.

Fast Recovery From Wreck

After you crash, tap UP for a slight speed boost.

180° Backflip without the Panda Boarder

Choose Dragon Cave, then take the normal route with no shortcuts and go right off the clif in the middle of the fence
and the finger sign. Pull back on your joystick.
As soon as you're upside down, push it to the right-forward position. It takes time to get this right. NOTE: You can
go higher off the cliff and make an easer landing
by pushing A right before you jump. It also works better in the Time Attack mode.

Combo Bonuses

In 1080 Snowboarding, you can get points by performing tricks in contest or trick attack mode. If you jump in the air
and perform 2 tricks before landing you will get
an additional 500 points for the combonation. If you perform 3 different tricks before landing you will recieve 1,500
combination bonus points. For 4 tricks you will
recieve 5,000 point combo bonus. For 5 tricks you will get a 8,000 point bonus. For 6 tricks you will recieve 13,000
bonus points. For 7 you'll get 20,000 bonus
points. For 8, you'll get a whopping 30,000 points! It is extremely difficult to get this many combo points but it can
really help you in contest or trick attack mode.
NOTE: You must do different tricks. Doing do Lein Airs won't work, but a Lein Air followed by a Nose Grab will.

Different Grind on Rail

In the level Dragon Cave, there is a rail at the end. If you are riding regular, you can 50-50, Frontside Boardslide, and
Backside tailslide. When you're riding Goofy,
you can 50-50, Backside Boardslide, and Frontside tailslide. Not only does this look great on replay, it's so realistic,
it is almost like watching someone on a
snowboard video.

Intro Camera

Press R during the intro movie and move the control pad around to have full camera control (just like during the
game).
